Gilgamesh - Fate/Stay Night Reason: Nasu was an amateur when he first made Stay Night and just needed someone for the MC to win the girls over from. In Zero, Gil is just a cool dude. In every other Fate work, Extra/CCC, Babylonia, etc, Gilgamesh is a good guy/ genuinely more likeable and intriguing than Edgey-Hero-wannabe-kun Emiya. 3. Izaya Orihara - Durarara Reason: Without this troll, Durarara would be unwatchable. Nothing of interest would ever happen in that show without him. Plus, he has Lelouch's charisma somehow. 4. Semiramis - Fate/Apocrypha Reason: Her backstory is interesting and personal. Unlike Cardboard-kun and his Saintess, her actions felt like that of someone realistic. 5. Stella Loussier - Gundam Seed Destiny Reason: She's not really malicious in any way.. just broken. Her backstory might have been vague but it makes me root for her to get a happy ending as she is literally not in control of her own mind, but despite that, whenever there are glimpses of her own personality, she just comes off as a very innocent and sweet girl. Far less shallow than Lunamaria Hawke who was having a hard lady boner for Athrun in one episode and then throws herself in another ace pilot's arms the next... -_- |
