ikr? Mikimoto is actually my favorite artist, he has a very unique way of drawing people.

It doesn't cover the entire anime series but it's enough to move to the other entries in the franchise. I still recommend watching DYRL after it because it's great.

Oh, that's sad. To be fair, I didn't want to read it immediately so I guess I'll wait for some more nonetheless.

Both Gundam and Macross anime are more completed from what I've heard, but their large number of entries makes it a bit difficult to get into.

I agree gundam is a bit complicated because of the different timelines and entries jumping back and forth in time but macross actually has a very straightforward watching order

and all entries put together are less than 200 episodes
EDIT: we just turned this into an anime thread kek
