| I din't like seeing Gokudera out of the competition this early either, but he was a boy amongst men in that round. | personally i voted for akio because he was the only one i knew, although i have absolutely no expectation of him winning since he's really not that gar (although i still think he's more gar than lulu and several others that made it out of the first round) |

| This match just solidified my loss of faith within the MAL community. It was an immature move on windy's part to do that but it's also ridiculously stupid for many of you to vote out of spite. |

It's INFORMING people that there's a MAL GAR match going on and since they're IN the club, they'd want to know if they were up for a vote. Give me a break, it's not FORCING people to vote here. There was no rule concerning it and this is total BS that you're obviously being sore losers about the whole thing. If you can't play by YOUR own rules, then get out, seriously. I personally refuse to vote anymore if you're going to be sore losers and VOID a match for a BS reason when you don't get what you. I'm very disappointed in the behavior shown in this last match. |

| If they cared about MAL GAR they would know there is a match even without informing them, they are daily, there is a match on at all times, not much need for really informing anyone about that. I like L and he was pretty much the only reason I liked Death Note. I wouldn't mind him advancing even though he really ain't that GAR but the massive club, profile and other messages are just nonsense. |
| I temporarily closed the match to people who were not in the MAL GAR club. I didn't find out "L" voters and shut them out. A lot of the regulars who are memembers of the club did vote L and that is completely fine. I already said I don't care if L wins (he actually didn't get first place last round), and I would be happy to announce he wins, fair and square. Did you notice how GAR went from 70~ voters to 184 voters? That our club has about 100 people in it? Do you seriously think people being mass messaged to come vote really give a fuck about who wins and the contest? If they did, they probably joined the club (thus about 7 more people joined last round). 7 of that extra 100 voters who came out of nowhere. I temporarily closed the GAR club because of certain people who decided to update their "VOTE L" links. So, instead of immediately disqualifying L I sent out warnings. I do not WANT to disqualify L. I want him to win or lose fairly. It would not have been fair if he lost because of a bad picture either, so we gave him a better one. It was a joke between some of the people who help me run this and I never cared to really check what was up. It's my fault and I am appologizing to the L fans by giving him a fair picture and a fair round. I am sorry. I am sure any real fans would rather have him actually win instead of falsely winning by rallying. I have never messaged anyone to vote for my favourite characters because that isn't right. If you disagree with this, please get the fuck out of my club and stop voting in my competition. |

Personally, I care, but do I check everyday? No. There's very few characters that I care about so I only vote for them and I don't always know when they're up. Nonsense? And I understand that maybe you think mass messanging is a little underhanded, but you can't dictate what people have on their profiles unless it's against the rules, which it isn't. No real L fan cares about the picture, seriously. They vote for the character, not the picture. I mean, come on, no one considers people telling you to vote for Obama or McCain a dirty tactic. It's a competition, you're trying to do the best for your character, gg. Okay, if you're going to be sore losers about it... Then I think I will "get the fuck out of your club." Anyone's competition who's going to act like this, sorry, have to say I don't want to be a part of it. |
