Hello, my name is Grace, it is nice to meet you. :] I stumbled upon this site on a forum for the game "Eternal Sonata." And, well, I've been here since. xD My first anime was Pokémon, but at the time I didn't know what anime was. I was probably like three or so? I soon liked Sailor Moon and Digimon. Then a couple years later I got into the English adaption of Card Captor Sakura "Cardcaptors" when I saw it on TV. Then when I was around nine or ten my brother was buying Azumanga Daioh DVDs and explained to me what anime was, and that was the first one I watched subbed. And, well... I've been a fan since. :] I took about a year break in sixth grade but I've been really into it since like late-seventh grade. Now I'm entering high school and I'm still as much of an otaku as ever! :D My friends call me the real-life Konata since I prioritize anime and games over my school work. x]
I am prone to pick up catch phrases from anime such as uguu and ahaha and wafu! and use them in appropriate situations. I also abuse the xD smiley and will randomly declare my love for Nanoha and/or L and/or Ken'ichi at times. I have a tendency to say "omg" a lot and will typically add extra "D's" to my xD smiley to indicate how hilarious I found the situation or whatever was just said. And I don't care if you think I sound like a douche for inserting random Japanese in my sentences, because I do. :] Some of my friends tell me in real-life I act kind of like a tsundere. xD;

Nanoha Takamachi
Nanoha, the first character I ever fangirled over. Why? Many reasons. She is the main protagonist of the Lyrical Nanoha series. She is introduced as a 9-year-old, cheerful, devoted, loving 3rd-grader. However she is lonely since everyone else in her life has a close friend or partner but she does not. Despite having this empty feeling inside, she continues to work her hardest. If Nanoha were not there, the other main character Fate would've likely been killed by her mother after Alicia was resurrected. Thanks to Nanoha, Fate was saved and became the best of friends. In A's, Reinforce I would've destroyed the whole city if Nanoha wasn't there to stop her. In StrikerS, she is 19-year-old kick ass Nanoha-mama as she adopts a daughter, Vivio. She's able to put an end to Quattro before she drives the cradle out of orbit and saves her daughter. Not only is she kick-ass, powerful, and incredibly sweet and caring, putting others before herself, she is M-O-E. <3 Words cannot describe her awesomeness, she is everything you could want in a person rolled up into one.
L Lawliet
Ohmydeargod. There is a good reason -- reasons, rather -- that I am his waifu. (: I loved him the instant I saw him. No, I loved him the instant I heard his voice. L is one of the most unique -- no, can safely say the most unique -- character you will ever encounter in an anime or manga. Whether its his quirks, personality, smartness, determination, you will definitely find something to love about him. A super genius of unrivaled intelligence, L has captured the hearts of many and his popularity is evident if you look at MAL's Top Favorited Characters. Not to mention all of that, but he is freaking HOT. I am the humble creator of his personal fangirl alliance. Yes, I am an obsessed, rabid fangirl, but who cares? But back to the point -- L. Is. Amazing. 'Nuff said. And no, if any of you think I'm actually retarded enough to love Death Note just for L, that's not it. Sure, the characters is ONE of the reasons I love Death Note, but that's it. [/rant]

You'll one only in April? That kinda sucks. Because I'm from Israel we tend to have a few each ear (because of vacations^^). A funny thing is many people complain they can't find otakus in their schools... YET THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE.
I'm... tired... Truth is I didn't do anything special, but yes, it was fun as hell. I met good people, and had lots of laughs. The best thing about it is the fact people talk with you no matter who you are. It's fun..
