| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kidou was pretty amazing fighting those bugs but then he was a complete ass to Ilie who had just lost her dad. I've seen this play out before: the hardened soldier with a tragic past who reluctantly takes in someone, softens up and changes his MO from fighting for himself/revenge to protecting someone he loves. Tolerating the CGI insects but that doesn't mean I have to like them. |
| It almost looks good, the animations are good, the models are fine but they're too low poly, too many saw edges and as soon as the camera moves everything gets blurry, not sure if it's motion blur, bad comrpession or both. |
| I can say only one : netflix should stop making animes because maybe except 1 they made no good animes just degrading "world of anime" |
| The CGI is not as good as some of their anime like Ultraman which has a way better CGI animation than this. For the story it seems fine so far, I felt bad for that little girl and her father, she deserves better. |

| 'Attack on Insects' looks pretty good with the decent cgi and plot so far, the setting kinda reminds me of Mushibugyo in post apocalyptic setting instead or Chrome Shelled regios. I really wonder how they keep the insects away from the city considering the insects can just fly over the walls. |
