| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Kaiba's back to being his cruel self, which surprised Yugi since he thought Kaiba changed. Even Anzu came to Joey's defense and Bakura almost let's it slip about Joey's sister's eyes, but Joey yells at him. Kaiba tells Yugi about a match he witnessed Pegasus take part of and how easy it was for him to win and that even Yugi is no match. Yugi isn't fazed tho and says he'll still take him out, but Kaiba is going to the castle first, so Yugi needs to catch up quickly. On to the next volume! |
| Well Kaiba doesn't have evil in his soul anymore, but he doesn't respect Jonouchi one bit as a duelist. Think of it this way, a nobody with crappy cards stands up to you and tells you he is hot shit only to get easily defeated. No wonder Kaiba thinks he is just a pushover. Even more so in the eyes of someone like Kaiba, who values results more than the means! Anzu still stepped up to defend Joey. And oh boy, we get a first glimpse of Bandit Keith told to us by Kaiba! This guy is one the best secondary characters in this arc imo (aside from Mai ofc). And we actually get a proper introduction about his character here, we never really delved much into him in the anime, which was a shame. Also the way Pegasas humiliated him and turned their face off into a card game commercial was brutal. No wonder Keith wants to get back at him!  also lmao |
