Not going to lie, I find Carcinus' personality to be pretty cringe.. Can't he just add normal for a second?

Blame whoever made his settings that way. IF you ever made a character, how would you construct the settings?

A poor man's overlord?

You must be commenting on the wrong story because the only things similar to the trash that is overlord and an actualy good manga like this one is Isekai, dedicated followers to the mc and high power levels.

Ruphas stomps Ainz into the dirt hundreds of millions of times over before he could even comprehend what happened.

Overlord never touched on who or what sent the cringey almost blank slate rollplayer that is Suzuki satori to the new world.

This series makes the reason an integral factor to the story.

Overlord is about some cringey rollplayer that doesn't have any balls to stand up to NPCs and is pretty much a blank slate other than his cowardice that is beaten over your head do many times that you know the NPCs will do all the planning and the coward main guy will take all the credit for doing nothing leading the NPCs to suck him off about how cool he is.
