I wonder how trustworthy Revolver can be. Surely, an alliance between him and Playmaker can accomplish great things together.

Pretty much a buildup episode. Personally, I like Revolver's plan.

Finally, we get a good recap episode! Re-telling us shit, but still keeping it entertaining with plot, comedy, and going into some interesting directions.

I really liked the scene with Yusaku, Takeru, Ai, and Flame. It definitely feels like there's a bond between the four, even though this type of scene was long overdue. However, it definitely would have been stronger if the writers actually took the time to develop Yusaku's character beforehand instead of making him a mary sue with little to no personality.

The final scene was good too. I liked how Soulburner just wasn't down for this alliance after everything Revolver and his father did to him and his life. Thought they were all going to accept after a few minutes of conversing, but VRAINS managed to subvert my expectations.

Overall, pretty solid episode for a recap. Interested to see how the next episode will go. ;o
