| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was intense, I guess? More buildup for the final episode and we got more bloodshed. Honestly, I think this show has lost a lot of steam up to this point but it's still trying to tell a story. Shinsaku better learn to hold onto his emotions more carefully.. |

| What a good (or ironic) way to throw the side characters off, leaving with just Katsura and Takasugi the main leads, fighting against their master. That was the best takeaway of this episode but who cares at this very point. |

| Shinsaku & Katsura's sensei was Mugensai all along. That whore must've corrupted his mind. If Shinsaku would've known the truth earlier, he could've stopped her. Let's hope that there's still time to change the future for the better. |
