Mine is good enough to basically play games that's not graphics extensive and CPU extensive. Most of the time I'm on Discord though...

My main PC

-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB
-AMD Ryzen 5 2600
-2x4 GB ram
-500W power source
-1 TB HDD, plus external HDD with another 1TB
-Razer BlackWidow keyboard
-Razer DeathAdder mouse
-some piece of trash cheap monitor

I don't know what my laptop has, enough to run office so it's okay for what I bought it for.

Main is for gaming, usual internet surfing, and programming. Laptop is for emergencies and some study purposes.

Nice, Does your PC have 2 HDD slots, I would recommend putting in a SSD and use your HDD as a secondary storage

A ~15 years old pc, outdaded as fuck, but it's indestructible (except for the sound card which died and I'm using an external one). I recently added some rams and I have 4gb currently (used to be 2 xD), it's generally sufficient for my needs. I don't play games and it runs all the programs I need like Photoshop and Sony Vegas, so I'm fine with it. It's been through A LOT and it's working great for such an old pc. But I think it might die at any time now, so I've been saving money for a new one and I also keep all the important things on external hard drive.

I have a fairly powerful desk top unit running a Ryzen 7 1700 that I upgraded last year. I built it myself, I mostly use it for making fansubs and the usual shit but no gaming. I use a 4K monitor.

It does have a slot that I could hand to an SSD, but that kind of an upgrade is low priority for me right now. Getting a new monitor is what I plan on next, as my current one is a 60Hz monitor.

finally replaced a 10 year laptop a couple months ago.

ended up going with a near-entry-level surface laptop with the i5 7200u & 8gb ram. it's a super lightweight and is good for just doing work with long battery life. Also the 3:2 aspect ratio is pretty amazing although that's coming from someone who prefers 16:10, but the response time of the screen sucks so hard. It's very noticeable and nearly a deal breaker with how bad it is (something like ~50ms if I read it right somewhere).
