Best Arc?

| Chimera Ant arc is probably the best arc I’ve ever seen in a battle shonen anime. Also I think that HxH is more then a simply battle shonen anime. |

| Having just watched this show, my favourite was definitely the Yorknew City arc. It would have been a 10/10 arc, but for the anti-climactic ending. The battle with Kurapika and Uvo was one of the best in the series, but it just seemed to end with Kurapika scuttling off somewhere else after recovering, instead of him chasing down the remaining members of the Troupe. The Chimera Ant Arc was up and down. Some episodes, post-King and pre-palace battle just seemed to drag on and on, but the set up was great and some of the characters were really well developed. Pitou in particular was probably one of best in the entire show. Gon was finally fleshed out a little more and more than just a cookie-cutter shonen protagonist. |
| CA. Tbh never understood very much the hype of Yorkshin, it isn't a bad arc but I prefer Exam and Heavens Arena... Probably something like: 1. Chimera 2. Heavens Arena 3. Exam 4. Yorkshin 5. Greed 6. Election 7. Zoldyck Family. Fuck Zoldyck Family. |

| The Chimera Ant arc had some of the highest highs but also some of the lowest lows for me. Overall liked it quite a bit though I also really Yorknew when I watched it, but I don't remember as much about it. And the Dark Continent arc has been interesting as well, a bit of a complicated clusterfuck but I like it lol. Those are probably my top three, I don't really think HxH has had any bad arcs. |
| At first, Chimera ant arc was splendid but it turned out to be one of the worst arcs I've ever seen so far, The Hunter exam was done better in the 1999 version but it was still good in the 2011 version, York City and Greed Island were really good and breathtaking. The final arc was so ughhh, I was suffering soooo much to finish it tbh. So yeah York City > Hunter exam > Greed Island >>>>>>> the rest (Except the first half of Chimera arc) |

| I may be a little too much of a contrarian (or I just have shit taste) but I thought that every arc sucked ass to varying degrees with the sole exception of the Election Arc, which was quite great. Election Arc>>>>>>>>Yorknew>Hunter Exam>Garbage>Everything else. |

| never clicked so fast as to choose the york new city arc. then became sad to see it behind the chimera ant arc. Alright so the chimera arc had like the biggest moments of the entire series, but as an arc as a whole? It's kind of a drag man, I know it's all intentional but still the pacing just didn't do it for me. York new city arc on the other hand I can fanboy about that shit all day, that's what made me really love hunter x hunter and what was probably the reason I continued to watch even though after thinking about it the greed island arc was really meh. Apparently it's better in the 1999 version but I actually thoroughly enjoyed the exam arc, probably my 2nd favorite after york new city |

You're literally not even where the Chimera Ant arc picks up yet. I consider the beginning to be quite boring. The episode where it picked up for me (I'll spoiler it in case you don't want to know) Boy when the Chimera Ant arc picks up it goes hard, and it ends of as one of the greatest anime arcs of all-time. |
