| Higurashi is the best mystery/horror anime around. Also i haven't finished it yet, but Boogiepop Phantom is a great mystery/horror so far. It has a really creepy atmosphere to it. |
| AoT and Toky Ghould are not exactly what I would call mystery/ horror hehe. Rather go with the GOAT that is Shinsekai yori. |

| Higurashi is probably the best you can get in anime form. I already have and the Umineko Anime is a mess and shouldn't exist, but the VN is the best thing ever. |

| Higurashi Shiki Perfect BLue Mononoke Jigoku Shoujo Monster Shinsekai Yori Karakurizoushi Ayatsuri Sakon Requiem from the Darkness Kagewani Ito Junji Collection Yami Shibai Kikoushi Enma Petshop of Horrors Vampire Princess Miyu (OVA) Those are a bunch of good mystery/horror titles I wuld recommend. Some are better than others but they all seem like the kind of stuff you're looking for. |

Yeah I think so too but you can also add another to the list it's probably only anime that is closely similar to horror Apart from boogiepop phantom you could check out Monster and Hell girl. |

| There's an anime original called Zombieland Saga airing next season, which will likely be at least horror if not mystery. Also it's by Mappa and Cygames so it could actually be good. |
