| Finally a episode that advances the main narrative! Great storytelling with tense moments and him remembering at the end was great! The reaction Zero Two had when Hiro gave her candy was so cute! |

| Wow, those unusual habits that make Zero Two so unique are originated from the imprinting of their first encounter. The love for sweet foods, licking mates to feel the taste, and ultimately the desire of staying with her "darling". Beyond their differences, they stand together against the rotten system that force kids to grow up as dehumanized and conformed individuals. So deep and touching, got this episode directly in the eyes, one of the best among anime in general. 6/5 |

| This episode was just fucking beautiful. Just amazing! *imitates chef's kiss* Hiro who's childhood was shrouded with mystery and he faced some many emotions and wanted to know so much but just couldn't get to them and also got his memory partially wiped. On the other hand 002 had such an early interaction with Hiro. The 'darling' makes sense now and why Hiro overcame the 'curse'/'disease' was because he had licked 002's blood and kind of developed a resistance over time. 002's childhood was so traumatic and tragic. Absolutely loved this episode! 002 and Hiro are reunited and now they have finally realised it. |

| This episode was really sad...The pain Zero Two had to endure...everyone's past back at the garden....The promise between Hiro and Mitsuru it all makes sense now...both their (Zero Two and Hiro) memories have come back now I'm happy about that :)....Also it was awesome to know that Hiro was the one who named Zero Two |

| What's up with the "experimental subject childhood friend forgotten from memory trope" in anime? I have seen it before in several anime - It is oddly specific to be replicated many times over. At least it was better executed this time. |
| Halfway into the season we finally got memories being brought up into the present and to know what really happened back then It was quite cute to see Hiro and Ichigo's first encounter and giving her that name and the others as well, So Hiro met Zero Two in the past already, Zero Two's life was like hell being treated like a lab rat back in the day and it surely is painful even Hiro got to see it dark times for Zero Two back then But they traveled to their extent until they eventually stop but I must say that the feeding scene was really cute I have to mention that and wiped their memories gives us a lot of answers in today's time. |

| This episode is so emotional best episode so far Now it make sense why she refused hiro when he wanted to give her a name and why she likes picture books, lolipop and honey And why she didn't like the adults or papa and research all that stuff When hiro asked her to open mouth to feed her that scene was so cute . | After 12 dragging episodes of the show... The makers added some sensible plot into the show. I hope the makers doesn't resort to innuendo stuff and focus more on plot and characters like they did in this awesome episode. If they really go forward in the same manner... They can add quality to the story. And even I can recommend and rate this show in a better way. To be frank, I was just fed up with the senseless sequences they had developed until last episode and I was just assuming that I will just blankly focus on finishing off this show ASAP. But man! This episode has rejunvenated positive hopes on this show back. |

| Yes, Hiro forgot about an extremely unusual thing he saw as a child, ok... It's not convenient for plot, right? It's like me saying I forgot the two times I saw people trying to kill themselves in front of me when I was a kid (that's not a lie). Whoever wrote Darling in the FranXx is retarded, and whoever likes it can be even more so. |
| Finally some background on Hiro and Zero-Two. The narrative and atmosphere in this episode was great, and I have to say that Vanquish is a fantastic track as well. Still, I'd like more detail on what klaxosaurs truly are, aside from alien biorobots. |

| If they were going to do those painful tests on 02, the least they could've done was administer her anesthesia. Or is her pain response part of the test? Did she spit out that poor mouse? I kind of feel bad for those mice losing one of their friend/parents. That was an interesting flashback. So, that's how she picked up those habits. And that's how Hiro lost his memories. Since Hiro's Saurification is likely, it's still a win-win, and Hiro loves Zero Two despite her not being human anyway. I like the ED, and are they foreshadowing a bittersweet ending? I'm looking forward to that! |
| It was a sad episode but it was pleasant at the same time how they spent time together. So Hiro's memories were erased, and that's why he didn't remember anything, not even his past. I am happy they finally realized that they are the same person from the past. |
