Hey everyone,
I’ve been looking everywhere but I cannot find a correlation between people’s age and the time the spend on anime per week. I’m really curious and it would me a lot if you could me with this question I have.

Well, I'm 42 and I usually watch somethinh like 14-16 episodes a week, if I'm not on vacation.

If I'm on vacation, it can get as high as 60 episodes a week.

Pretty sure he's asking if there's a correlation between what age you are and how much anime you watch.

Not sure if I've understood your question but I don't think so.

Age has nothing to do with that.

Age doesn't really factor in that much when it comes to amount of time spent watching anime. The time you spend watching anime is directly proportional to whether or not you are educated, employed, or in training.

Your age has nothing to do if you have a life or you don't have a life. Therefore, in a sense, watching anime doesn't really technically means you have a life or the vice versa.

There were times when I could watch up to 50 episodes a day to marathon some long running in my old days.
Now I can only watch one-cour anime in one sitting, and pick one anime every season.

I think age is irrelevant. Your personal life (work, school, etc) and personal interest (maybe you don't like watching alot of episodes) are the real factors. Personally I try to avoid binge watching, I just like to stretch it out. I avoid on-air anime though so I *can* binge if I want or just watch a extra episode or two.

Although, I'm watching Dragon Ball Super week-to-week at the moment. Only exception I've made. I just looked at the big picture and saw it'll probably be over a year or maybe even two before it'd potentially be done (Watching Dub btw) so I just decided to jump onboard rather than waiting.

Anyway, 19 here and usually like 32-40 a week I'd say probably. (3-4 episodes a day. Sometimes 4-6 one particular day.)

From like maybe like late August to October though, I kinda binged a notable bit and I think racked up like 70-80 per week. Bored with little to do and just decided to watch anime all day everyday pretty much.

Also one month my internet was out for like 2 weeks. So watching the anime I had downloaded came to be what I did primarily. Those 2 particular weeks I think I blazed through Twin Star Exorcists followed by Spice & Wolf.

I believe it's less age and more schedule... Or more like will to live...

If you are pursuing life then you will naturally watch less anime because you will be doing life things (Job, social gatherings etc)

If you gave up on life because you'er a weak meat sack... Then you literally have all the time in the world in between eating and sleeping... And if your hygienic... Showering

Same. I was watching anywhere between 6-10 episodes a day in high school. Now that I'm in college, I'm lucky if I even have time for one. I fall so behind on watching seasonal anime, as well.

I consider myself to be in the "young adult" category.
When not doing a challenge I'd say it averages about 6-10 episodes per week.
It's just 24 minutes per episode. Or less.
Commercials included, most TV shows clock in at 60 minutes.

I'm 22 and I watch ~30 episodes a week, usually just airing though. Probably like 50 when I watch already finished shows.
I watched less when I was in high school than I do now in uni.

At the moment I'm on holiday so I can watch a whole series of animes in that but as soon as school starts I'll have to restrict the amount of anime I dedicate myself into watching since it's my final year. Over time your life should get busier unless you're retired, let's say you're unmarried you can control all your time while being married I pretty sure you lose some of your time.

It depends. When I was still in school, I watched anime a lot. probably 8-10 episode per day, even more. I usually watch old anime that already finish airing and avoid on going anime.

right now i'm in college and almost graduate. I don't have time to watch that many anime anymore since life is always be a priority. too sad. probably I watch 1-2 episode per week.

It has less to do with age and more to do with what else is going on in your life. I have a ton of time to watch anime right now as opposed to 6 months ago but that's due to a change in my job not the fact that I aged.

I'm busy as fuck now because of work and everything else. I realize the mistake of my younger self not taking advantage of not binging when she had the chance. Dumbass.

Well, I've been homeschooled up until 8th grade, I started watching anime at age 9, and I had A LOT of free time from homeschooling. I could've watched 50+ episodes on my free time each week but now I watch ....less than 7 episodes a week? It's quite sad....

Thankfully I spent my youth watching anime as a hobby. I'm 21 and working now, my schedule is also hectic. I can't even managed to watch a 12-ep series in a week. Lol. Just managed to watch 1 anime per weekend.

Started to watch at age 24. Are 28 today. Have 126 days of anime watched like 500 series completed.

My first 2 year was insane of amount i watched. Now after starting to run out of good shows it´s more less. Only watch seasonal anime and one at the time that is finished. (if I find someone interesting)

Yes i work full time and even had a girlfriend for a time.

I'm 35 this month. How much I watch depends on tons of factors like:

-Days I work and hours per day
-Fatigue and hours of sleep needed to function at work
-Other hobbies
-Social obligations
-How big my anime DVD/BD backlog is getting and whether I need to work on it
-How many seasonal shows I'm following
-If I get the urge to rewatch something

LOL age has little to no input as to how many episodes one watches in a day... Why would you even want to know that?

Well rather than my age, time has took a toll on my motivation to watch Anime, next season I only plan on watching 3 shows due to how I'm not really in the mood to watch a lot of anime anymore like my past self did.

If you started watching anime at a younger age then you'd have a head start.

Age: 14
Episodes: 1-2 per week but I'm watching more and more anime every other week. I mostly watch 2 episodes with my friends and 2 episodes by myself. I mostly play video games and watch Youtube videoes more than watching anime.
