Of course I watched those as a kid but those aren't what got me interested in anime. To an american kid those are just like regular cartoons. I didn't really get interested until later on because of something totally different. |

So when you were watching DBZ you would have been old enough to know that it was anime. I was too little. |

I was always aware that they were different from what aired on Cartoon Network (and years later Fox Kids), I just didn't know the term. I called them cartoons with pointy noses XD |

| I was around 5 years old when I was first introduced to anime, and watching a lot of shounen morning/afternoon shows. With awareness that I was watching anime, I think 15. |
| Sometime around 6-10 I got around Pokemon and Toonami shows including DBZ, Gundam. Then round 12-13 or so I completed shows like FMA, G Gundam where I truly started getting into anime. |

| Hmmm... I watched Pokemon and Detective Conan at age 7 but i didn't get into anime until the age of 12 with Death Note and Bleach. Stopped caring about Anime after the age of 13 and now here i am 19 years old and into Anime again. |
