| My top would probably be... 1. Clannad (Including After Story) 2. ef - A Tale of Memories 3. Romeo x Juliet 4. Kanon 2006 5. Hatsukoi Limited Romeo x Juliet and ef - A Tale of Memories could easily switch places though, they're both pretty even. I also really enjoyed, Ai Yori Aoshi Kobato Kodocha REC Cardcaptor Sakura That is purely based on the romance aspect of the series though. There are a lot of other good series with Romance included, but I didn't find the actual romance part as charming as these series. |

| My all-time favorite is probably Spice & Wolf (still have to see season 2 but well.. don't have enough time.. yet) Lovely Complex is also good. Also Bokura Ga Ita (will re-watch it again and finish it this time.. i was kind of emotionally unstable the last time i watched it.. and well, i cried my eyes off every episode xD) Not sure if that counts but Ghost Hunt has the kind of hinted-romance (or well, Even though it's usually not the kind of anime I like but.. I love(d) Zero no Tsukaima Season 1! Still don't really like Louise but the overall story (esp. the beginning) was and is awesome imho. It just went totally downhill after Season 1 ... I have seen a lot of romance animes(my list isn't really updated) but most of them weren't really memorable or worth mentioning because of all the clichés and whatsoever.. |

| If we are talking about a series listed as romance on MAL 1- LOVELY COMPLEX! Nothing can top it. Without a doubt one of the most realistic romance anime ever. 2- Fullmoon Wo Sagashite though not for the main canon couple, blegh 3- Fushigi Yuugi Good old memories with this one. It's not that good objectively. 4- Kyou Kara Mou Hehehehe 5-Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien Soap opera crack. I never understood why Toradora was so popular. It is incredibly bland. |

It seems to me like most anime movies are on a whole different maturity level than anime series. |
