Synopsis
Eyden L. Schutzer always had a passion for art. He enjoyed his peaceful life as an art school student in a town filled with life and beauty. But everything changed when the Sky Golems--mythological creatures of destruction--appeared without warning. The Sky Golems unleashed a storm of thunderbolts and destroyed the town, along with Eyden's days of peace. One year passes; Eyden is now suffering from depression after witnessing the fragility of the world. Desperate to rekindle his passion for art, he wanders around a town's landscapes and finds Dakini, a mute girl who carries a wooden sword around her waist. Eyden's meeting with Dakini will change his life forever.

It's been a couple months. Why hasn't this been added?

Well, seems like nobody actually tried submitting it (you do it by filling the form yourself, not by making a request on the forum), but probably it won't be accepted in any case due to being a web comic.

It actually had been submitted. It had a page up for a little while. I had even taken the time to write personal character descriptions for it as well, but it 404'd, so I guess it got denied. I don't see why it being available only in digital would make a difference, but is it because it doesn't have an official publisher? I don't know.

It does make a difference actually as original webcomics are not allowed in the database. The only digital manga that gets added is if they are from a reputable publisher, which happens to also have a digital platform.

Hm, I don't see it here but maybe it was named differently.

Something like that. Without this rule it would be impossible to figure out where to draw the line, e.g. should every newbie MS Paint comic be included too, or should we collect only ones that seem professional enough? And who's to say what is professional enough? It's good to have an objective criteria, even if it means that some good manga will be left out.

I wrote the following to svaax as well since he is the one who supposedly denied it, but I haven't received any response.

Please notice that the manga is being published on https://note.mu/hi6sho/m/m3baae97538ef You actually have to pay in order to read the manga (except for chapter 1 which is free).
While unusual, it is published nonetheless and as per the Manga Database Guidelines:
" e. Digital Media

if electronically distributed by a company known for publishing digital manga (ex. GanGan Online)."

@BenuSama As far as I know (because I am not a manga moderator so take everything I say with a grain of salt), this does not count as a reputable publisher by MAL's standards. The same exact argument has been made over numerous webtoons because Naver, Lezhin, etc. ask for money for a lot of them, but it just does not work that way. That is the reason I mentioned before about a reputable publisher which also happens to have a digital platform. Gangan Online is part of GanGan Comics, which is a reputable company. Is Note part of such a publisher? If not, then it will not be added and I can only assume that it is not as it was denied before.

@Maffy I guess I can't do much to change MAL's standards for regulation, but I do appreciate your response.
