It's an emotional/psychological rollercoaster, dark, and mind-boggling. A must see. |

Oniisama e... (fucked up but has an artstyle that turns people off) 3. Yuri on Ice (gay sports anime) 4. Gunbuster (dramatic mecha anime) 5. Yugioh ( card games taken too seriously lol) 6. Akira (WTF type movie that was the animation wonder of it's time) 7. Inuyasha (the anime that got me into anime) Top 7 I would recommend: 1. Black Lagoon (action strong female protag) 2. Mob Psycho 100 (overpowered protag that doesn't realize he is Overpowered and has a low self esteem) 3. Death Parade (an anime about limbo) 4. Full Metal Alchemist and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (Alternative WWII Germany anime, fantasy, comedic in the right places, shonen but has a wealth of good characters which makes it both popular and well rated. A rarity on the site.) 5. Parasyte (a alien parasyte takes over people's bodies and kills people, protag works together with his parasyte) 6. Natsume Yuujinchou (Relaxing anime about youkai nobody seems to hate) 7. Monster ( dramatic, psychological medical anime often recced to people who like Death Note) |

And yea, I'm pretty straight male but nothing against homo or anyone! Everyone has their own choices and should be accepted/respected for their individuality :') You really should watch the first 20 episodes or so of the 2003 series first but I understand skipping... Brotherhood likes to assume you read the manga or watched the 2003 series for the first parts which are fairly rushed those first episodes. Also you should know that just because there are gay characters doesn't mean the anime isn't good. For the most part they are aimed at straight women though. Yes even the ones with lesbians. |
