| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, since all the Tonagura threads SUCK, I'm going to make a new one. ( I'm talking to you Di27 ) Really disappointing ending. As usually it leaves me wondering why are good endings so rare. Well, at least Yuuji stayed, if he had left the whole series would have felt even more like a waste. Is there a rule somewhere stating that perfect endings are forbidden in animé? Personally I have never heard of anyone who appreciates disappointing endings. Putting in a quick confessing from Hazuki would not have been to hard, right? And we never got to know who Koro-sensei liked ( I believe it's Hatsune ). This is like a perfect setup for 1 or 2 OVA episodes ( which probably is forgotten by now ). Loved the scene where Yuuji is allowed to act perverted again. but otherwise this episode sucked. |
| I liked it... didn't "Love It" but this episode as well as the series entertained me. Yea, got to agree it did look like they were setting up for an OVA. Guess that fell through the cracks |

| I've finished this series a long time ago. Yeah, I still remember the ending. But, I still liked the entire story, although it's a huge twist. XD |

| 2 out of 5: Disliked it (your vote) That was BAD ending, nothing really changed.. They haven't kissed even once - how is that possible? No confession, no progress. Well, at least i saw lots of hugs, and Marie's M4 shooting thousands of bullets - lovely x] to DarkBlue: somehow i feel that it would be much better ending if yuuji would've left them all like that.. Sad but better. I think that would be like a lesson - that doing nothing changes nothing. Kazuki sucked. I thought she'll shout out her true feelings, but nahhh all she said 'you can be perverted'.. ehhh what's that? whatever.. that was BAD.. Few OVA's wouldn't hurt by the way :) |

| AT LEAST GO ON A DATE or something, it's so obvious that they love each other. I hate this drama bullshit they put in ecchi comedy, they should decide if it's a drama or pure comedy but no, they just have to do the whole sentimental shitty drama ending with NO CONCLUSION. No wonder it took me about year or half year to watch the last 4 episodes. |

| Agree with the above, overall it was a average anime. Ending was.. ugh. Characters were great, its sad their relationship didn't progress much if at all though. Which is where this anime lost alot of points for me, it was enjoyable throughout for the most part however. So gonna rate it somewhere near 5. |

| Huh? i thought Kazuki did made a progression knowing how hard she is with Yuuji.. Well i enjoy overall of this anime.. And to be frankly what did you expected from this anime anyway..seriously |

Cause most anime based on the manga is not finished so they gotta end it while leaving it open so they don't ruin the manga set up. Unless they decide from start they're going to ditch the manga plot. Ok ending I guess. Some things could be worked on better. |

| Ending really sucks....:( I was like hmmmm maybe a similar ending to Toradora!.... then I had peace with it but now... blegh... I liked the whole anime show and the last episode, but only the ending where the episode was finished i was like bullshit... but ah well... It was a great anime I give it a 7 or 8 out of 10:) the ending sucked so hard that it will cost like 1 or 2 points:P (gonna read the manga fast for the kiss or something like that if it's there:P) |

| The usual kind of inconclusive ending of an average 13 episode romance series. At the very least, I must not have hated it, as I'm working on typing out Ryoumi's subs for a DVD release. |

I don't know much animes with a happy ending with only 13 or 26 eps altho those are really good comedies:) I think you have to watch short animes onnly by their comedies and not of their happy endings:/ |

| So if yuuji hadn't been perverted in the past, she wouldn't have accepted him. Meaning that the message of this anime is that you should never change? wow :| ...Wait actually, I don't even care, this anime wasn't that great in the first place. I'll give it a 6 though, since it was at least interesting enough for me to watch from beginning to end, and I'm sure it made me laugh at some point, or at least grin. |

| VERY generic and VERY predictable.... Nothing I haven't already seen in about 90 other anime.... Oh well, my expectations were low, so no harm done. Having said that.....there were funny moments and the characters weren't too bad. 6/10.....nothing special....but not horrible. |

| Wow, the relationship didn't advance at all, no confession and both don't know about each other's feelings. I even accept that there was no kiss because it wouldn't really fit Yuuji, but that there is nothing more than a "I accept your pervertness but I'm still going to hit you for it" is really weak. It would have been a some much better ending if she just screamed "Yuuji, I like you!!!" after the "Don't go". The show was good, nothing more, nothing less, so it's a 7/10. |
| i liked it. :) but same with the reactions in this thread, the ending should have been better. only if they confessed to each other. *sigh. i was waiting for that actually. still, it was a happy ending. i mean back to happy family and friends ending. good nonetheless. |

| Too bad about the ending, but I figured the studio made the ending this way since the manga was still publishing at the time, ending in 2011. The manga went on for nearly 5 years after the airing of the anime. It's easy to look back in later years and say "Oh, what a bad ending. The manga was better." etc, etc. But everyone probably didn't know the direction the anime studio or manga wanted to go. The studio could have planned season 2 or OVAs from their ending, but had poor sales or whatever. Or how do we know the manga would have lasted that much longer? Anyways, with that said, I do advise to check out the manga lol. The anime only covered until Chapter 16. That's 16 out of 87 chapters. At this time, unfortunately, only 54 chapters are translated to English. The next best bet would be to read the raws for the end of the story from 55 to 87 (which is what I will do). |
| Ep. 10 was absolute shambles, however, it picked up a little bit in quality in the last eps. Still, this anime was bad. The leading characters were very uninteresting and simply a shallow combination of your usual tropes (The perverted MC and violent tsundere (and not cute at all) female MC). Honestly, I just wish this was a romance centered around Hatsune or Chihaya. They were the best characters of this show. And, while the teacher's character was not bad, his inclusion was bad for the plot overall. It was pointless to add a love 'rival' to these already horrible leading characters. It made everything much more miserable. And.... seriously? She forgot Yuuji's perverted side ever since they were little? Basically, her amnesia made this show go on for 13 pointless episodes because we went back to square one with that absolutely nothing-burger ending... I feel like 4/10 is generous for this but I liked Hatsune and Chihaya a lot. |
