Hallo! I am Japanese.

I would like to participate in overseas anime and manga events within this year.
Are there events in your country? (no matter it is a big or minor.)
I am interested in the country and events that do not go the Japanese.

And, do you buy Japanese comics and watch Japanese anime in your home town?
I want to buy various anime goods.

There are many anime events in Japan.

Nahh..
That's not true. Just like how America is suffering from a disease called weeaboo.
India is suffering from a disease called "American weeaboo". Many Indians try to act like Americans and it's really weird.
There are comic-con and other events but they mostly consist of Western T.V Shows, movies, comics, etc.
There's no room for Japanese anime, manga, movies, etc. :(

Can you tell me where do I find myself? cuz I am in india and I am not even remotely close to being a normie.
I don't know why people write that they are approachable persons,
if you were you wouldn't be on MAL.

It's more of a Japanese cultural event rather than anime/manga. Last year they had brought a j-pop singer but apart from that they only have a cosplay competition and a manga stand (only for display). Except for j-pop I end up enjoying the cultural side more than the anime/manga side :P

I really wish that those mangas would have been for sale though, Japanese (raw) mangas aren't sold here, after all :(

Anime Expo in Los Angeles is one of the biggest conventions here in the States. Plus, there are direct flights from Tokyo to LA.
The football field isn't the only place where you could use a good line.

Well there's a manga library in Delhi though.
It's called Japan Foundation (btw I don't know if the manga are available for sale or not but you sure can read them)

France, Japan Expo and Polymanga are the only ones I heard of.
Paris Games Week is only about videogames, and I got my friend a Persona 5 bag (he was surprised I had it, but I just stayed at a videogame store and did shit)

There's literally a fan Expo today but otherwise there's 2-3 conventions in my country, that's it. There aren't lots of Japanese here.

US has a big Anime convention though.

This is getting off-topic with that "normie" thing :D

Anyway, here are the events that would be held in the Philippines:

We have the AnimagiC in Germany - A big convention. Violet Evergarden's first episode will be shown there for example.

There's also the AkibaPass festival in January. A festival where they show arround 15 different movies on one day in cinema. Some of them a week after the screenings start in Japan.

The festival doesn't have a website. Though, news regarding the festival will be announced here:

Well some of the wording was weird but...

Yes Canada has plenty events which I go to. My partner loves buying figures and yaoi in particular and she also sells prints/buttons/stickers/etc so I tag along...drive her and such.

I personally only buy games.

Notable events Anime North just passed, Con Bravo is soon, Fan Ex?, some others.

It being in Mannheim this Year makes it quite convenient for me, since it's only about 1h Commute by Train or Car. But then again, I'm not the Person to suddenly go to Festivals of any Kind and I don't feel close enough to anyone to suggest going there with them. I probably wouldn't mind going if someone who knows me would invite me, though.
