| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As expected no job or skills descriptions. The skills and technical aspects of the game was neglected. Welp that was expected.. guess they can't go into too much details with these small fights. Too bad non-readers will only see how op Ye Xiu is but not know how difficult the dungeon actually is without explanations. But still should have at least told the lvls of the boss (should be around 23) so we could have the rough estimation. =3= They are really trying to push through these parts so they could quickly get into the real action behind. I expected Yue He to have a longer hairstyle for his character lol. That slide under the belly was awesome.. suppose to witch into a gun tho. The first team battle against the hidden spider boss was actually to show his knowledge and tactical strength. It's a pity they had to mix in directions in the middle of the fight.. a bit messy. I still like the background and settings.. really nicely adapted. Ahhh finally the moment to announce his retirement from the stage of pro gaming. That was quite touching.. | Honestly really liked it minus the combat. Maybe I am wrong and I just have a different visual in my mind of how the combos and what not work but it didnt appear like they were having any of the technical part of the game included in the anime which is kinda sad :*( O and the OP/ED are amazing. |

| I'm liking the OP/ED, and yeah the MickeyD's product placement... xP Anyway, I forgot how soft and methodical Ye Qiu's hand speed was, kinda hypnotic. will need to catch up again, been months since I last read this xD The use of CG for background characters does reinforce the whole traditional MMO feel though. Also Ye Qiu is such a troll, and BA. :D I wonder how much Tencent invested in this and how long they can keep the Ufotable battle scene quality. Considering the Chinese doesn't use the whole Japanese committee system to fund animation... Also yeah, I guess they won't get highly technical considering time and adaptation constraints. |
| Another good episode. Some reuse scenes from the PV like the first episode. (not a big deal) But yea, they skipped the technical detail of the game. Little Moon Moon failed at getting our MC killed XD. |

I honestly really hope season 1 doesnt go past Wang Jiexi duel. I think at this pace it wont but they might skip some character development so we dont know. |

I understand not ruining the anime, you could just read the novel though up to the anime. For instance after episode 2 that makes it through chapter 23. Just stop and read to the point of where the anime leaves off. Realistically if they do it correctly and maximize the anime (which means slow it down a little bit after this season since this is a test season in a lot of ways, it can reach probably close to 150 episodes for the anime. However they can rush it out and get it done in probably 50) Assuming they take the long route though it will probably be 5-6 years before they are done animating it completely and there is 0 chance u hold off on the novel for that long :p |

I'm only up to the part where he fight the Blood Gunner which is shown in the PV. That's a pretty good idea to read and see what's missing. I might do it when the anime is over, that way I won't accidentally read ahead... |

| That was brilliant. The animation when he fought the hidden boss spider was crazy. Music also fits so well, very epic style. That retirement scene was great, very well done. I think, it shows that the guy who dumped him knows how much of a contribution Ye Qiu gave to GLORY. I'm fully onboard with this, may this train go very far. |
