| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is developing in a predictable manner but that's not a bad thing. The journey is still interesting and the characters are quite believable so far. Except for the boy in the end, he's a bit too much of a jackass. Although, the more I think about it my grandpa told me stories about guys like that on trains to school etc. |

| I'm also pleasantly surprised how human Emilys enviroment is compared to what I've seen in other novel adaptations that dealt with protagonists in similar situations. The local children might be an exception, tho. |

| My favorite moment was when Jimmy shared that same vivid imagination as Emily. I was wondering why he didn't volunteer to take Emily in, but perhaps he wasn't in a position do to so in the first place. Seems the Murrays aren't just some well-off, luxurious family that's always been. |
