I actually started to dislike reggaeton because of how numb and repetitive it is starting to become, until the new latin trap craze started.

And I'm speechless.

Lyrics that are actually taken from a hat instead of actual well-writen concepts (without any good messages), this annoying "gangsta" behavior, most of the beats being flat 140BPM without any major difference (except the 808s and melodies), glorifying of sex and violence over detail and consciousness, thinking that cannabis is "the best drug in the world" while LSD and ecstasy are far superior, no actual substance despite being a knockoff copy of US/underground trap with reggaeton structures...
This has to be the most insulting music I've ever listened to. Whatever happened to poptimism nowadays? Nowadays it's just reggaeton/trap beats and hedonistic or romantic lyrics everywhere I go. And I even like grindcore since it's more in-your-face than what this music is teaching nowadays. God I'm so tired of being a Latino.

At least the underground trap scene remaining (such as Agorazein, Pedro Ladroga and Dellafuente) is less cringy that this bullshit of what they call "trap" nowadays.
If someone puts on Bad Bunny again I'm gonna vomit waterfalls.
