| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm surprised there hasn't been a topic made for this episode yet. While the secret to one murder is solved (which wasn't really that clever), another is killed. This arc is probably the creepiest to date. Ryu is probably my fave. He gives no shits and just hits people where it hurts. I swear, if he wasn't one of the main characters, he'd probably be one of the people killed haha. |
| Ryu calls everyone out so hard, I absolutely love it when he does. This arc is genuinely fantastic, I'm enthralled with this mystery, I haven't been able to look away since the first murder. Seriously, someone said that the jack the ripper arc was their favorite in the show in the past, and I cannot understand that. This arc has stepped up the anime's usual quality so much. One ongoing, engaging, scary and unpredictable mystery, awesome. Since I'm praising it so much I guess I'll drop a criticism too, the Director was happy when his reporter died because he was greedy and thought it got him closer to the treasure, now he's talking about avenging his crew all heroically. Bit of a drastic switch. |
| Well the cult is creepy. The cult is obviously part of the murder. Bad idea for the producer of the crew to throw away his mask. There is obviously another entrance of the villages since the priest is so confident of the tunnel. |
| The priest didn't turn out to be as spooky as his mask looked. The way the knife was inserted, it doesn't even seem like it will touch the dude's body. |
| Having 2 main main character made this anime bit misdirected for me, kind of confuse which is the main purpose this story made they suddenly add Ryu while Kyu is the main character at first |
