It happens quite often that I'm even more excited to read/watch something after being spoiled. *laughs*

I'm not a fan of spoilers but if I happen to stumble upon one, then it doesn't matter. I'll still watch the show.

Insensitivity to spoilers I think is in almost everyone because most people don't want to be told what's going to happen or how it's going to end but that doesn't mean it ruins the show because, no matter how much they explain to you what happens nothing beats you actually watching it and seeing it for yourself. So spoilers don't change or ruin anything for me

Not really, since me getting spoiled about the series helps me decide if I am interested in that anime or not. If it is an anime I like spoilers makes me more excited.

Depends- I tend to spoil myself if I feel like I want to know. Otherwise I avoid them and don't want to know about them, depending on the anime I may even get rather annoyed that someone spoiled it for me.

I am very sensitive to spoilers. If someone told me about the ending of a particular show, I will definitely stop watching that show immediately and look for other series.
EricMay 21, 2016 7:57 PM
At least justify your opinions instead of just saying "it's my opinion". It would've been more polite.

Depends on how much I'm hyped for a show. I try avoiding spoilers the best as I can. I become super angry when I spoil myself or when someone decides to be a jerk and spoil me. Otherwise, I'm fine with it as long as it isn't a big secret or something important like my favorite character's death.

Nowadays there's at least two or three commens in each anime stream website that spoils the series anyway. I personally don't really mind it. I'd much rather steer clear of it if the show is seriously awesome or sth, but if it's just mediocre and people are so keen on spoiling it, go right ahead for all I care.

if it's smth I'm watching halfway and I see a spoiler somewhere it would probably be as good as ruined for me, if it's smth I'm planning to watch it doesn't really matter since I don't know the characters, by face or name, nor the story so I'd most likely forget abt it in no time lol

If it's a spoiler for a good show, then I mind.
For example, I was bored with Charlotte and dropped it.
My friend ended up telling em to pick it up because I had stopped watching before it got good.
I asked him what happened because I was uninvested and bored at that point, but when he told he then I picked Charlotte back up because I thought they'd use it to make the show better and kick the plot into overdrive or something.
I was wrong

Actually, there is. If you watch an airing anime and you're right on time. There would be a spoiler or two before the user get banned.

Yeah, the seasonal anime.

OT: I love reading the spoilers. A spoiler will not ruin an anime for me.

Oh my god. I thought I was the only person like this. I am the exact same way. Most animes I watch are from me going to the recommendation forum and saying "I want an anime with this genre or whatever" and then people recommend them to me and I watch the first episode while having NO idea what it's about beforehand. I prefer that. (And then if I don't like it after 1 or 2 episodes, I drop it, temporarily, bc I never drop anything permanently unless I really really hate it).

However, I think in some shows, knowing a synopsis beforehand might help with understanding what the heck is going on. I can't remember what show I was watching... but I was thinking that with some show.

I usually don't care about them at all. In fact, there are anime, as well as other shows, movies, and books, that I will rewatch/reread and still enjoy just as much as the first time. Obviously I'm not erasing my memory each time.

It depends what the spoiler is. For example, sometimes a spoiler can make me want to watch even more an anime/read a manga, when the spoiler is something like "oh, he/she gets that powerlater" etc...
But when it's something more serious, like "he/she dies later" in this case i don't really like it.

I lose all motivation to watch the story, the only two I watched anyways were Clannad After Story and Death Note, and after months of thinking about it.

It's the same than why I don't rewatch stuff, if I know something that will happen, it just doesn't feel the same.

I've never really thought about it, since I've become really good at avoiding them. But since I avoid them at all costs, yeah I think I do hate spoilers. thats why I havent watched Clannad Afterstory yet, because I got spoiled by some "saddest anime moments everrr" video on youtube looong ago. That was back when I was a complete noob and didn't even know a show called Clannad even existed. Now after like 5 years, I plan to watch Afterstory, because there are like 23 other episodes that I havent been spoiled on,besides the ending of course.

Spoilers also ruined Little Busters! Refrain for me. After having watched The first Little Busters season I decided to read the spoiler tags for the characters. And yeah, they revealed the shocking secret that was supposed to be revealed in Refrain..... thus I found Refrain utterly boring and pointless.

Luckily I don't think I've been majorly spoiled on anything else...
