| After being informed (from a MAL thread) that the light novel which the first season has a sequel (an epilogue to be precise) that hints more material and story to explore, a second season definitely seems possible. So much as I loved the somewhat ass-pull happy ending, a second season would certainly help the show as a whole by providing a more in depth explanation as to why the girls actually recovered, and what happens to the world afterwards, since they really didn't solve anything.
