| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So many opportunities for frammeskipping and getting lots of cute screencaps this week.  So one has to be cool-headed, have a vivid imagination and lots of concentration to be an advanced mage. Riko has 44 episodes of character development remaining to get rid of her tsundere, klutzy self. I hope to enjoy the journey. Some really sweet scenes, we got to know a little about Riko's background and personality. Also a half-decent battle this week. I'd like to see the cures struggle at some point. |

Joke and comedy is dimishing as episodes progress. next episode, sapphire. maybe we'll get some awesome transforming again like ruby. |

Or Maybe Mirai's Grandma and Riko's Grandma is a before precure. i think Mirai's Grandma is also a old student of the magic school. |
| seeing all the precures in the OP was pretty neat. and it was nice to see the sisters reconcile and riko being able to pass the test. |

| Liked this episode,it made Riko seem more likable. Felt odd that she passed the test since the whole 10 seconds wasn't up but I guess since she made the ice pendant which was advanced magic she passed. |
| It was nice to see Liko's big sister. Liz is a very likeable character. That frozen pendant was beautiful. ^^ |

| I wonder, what would I create out of water.. Well, right now.. I guess I like games with pirate theme.. So create pirate flag.. ;D Fluttering by wind.. Just right now feeling for this.. Some other time I'd want to create something else, probably.. I'm worried about Liko's practical magic.. She passed this episode, but didn't learn, what she needed to.. Previous episode she didn't pass.. I'm worried for her.. |
| Isaac-sensei was having back pain, so a substitute teacher took his place. Mirai was shocked when she learned the teacher is actually Liko's big sister, Liz. Kei, Jun, and Emily were very excited about her. :) Today's test was to create something from water, and hold its shape for 10 seconds. It wasn't definitely an easy test, especially for Liko. She tried a little too hard. Liz noticed her about it, but it only made so frustrated that she decided to run off. Liko explained some things about her past to Mirai. Now she thinks Liz would be a better PreCure than her, and that she doesn't deserve to wear the pendant that originally belonged to Liz. Mirai said that's not true. The pendant is the very reason why they met and became PreCure together. Liz was mistaken as Liko by Sparda, who ordered the Yokubaru to attack her. Mirai and Liko transformed into PreCure and defeated the Yokubaru with Linkle Aquamarine by using the Linkle Stone Aquamarine. Later, Mirai, Kei, Yun, and Jun managed to pass the test. Liko apopogized for her earlier behavior to Liz. After that, she also passed the test. The water took a heart shape and then suddenly it froze. It looked exactly like Liko's necklace. Liz said the ice magic is difficult for even advanged students. Liko definitely has a potential to become a great witch in the future. It was adorable to see Mirai celebrating and hugging and Liko. ^^ The flashback of Liz and Liko at the end was heartwarming. |

| Can somebody please tell me why this series, which was broadcasted immediately after the dreadful, Mary Sue-Centered Go! Princess Precure, got right the idea of an internal conflict of one of the cures? I know it's very similar to series penned by the same person who was the main writer of this (Star Twinkle, go figure) and I have no problems whatsoever in that regards, but the guy at least got the memo that no, Mary Sues with the most personal problem being more Mary Sue than their own parents don't account for interesting character development. Yet Jin Tanaka couldn't understand it. I legitimately have no idea what the fuck happened. |
