| It's finally being translated again...I went back to re-read chapter 5 too. This manga is so depressing, can't stop my tears. So it's true that Gocchi didn't want to continue living as someone else, but even in his suicide note, he didn't say anything negative, he said he loves his fans and he was glad he was in showbiz. Maybe he was glad at one point, but definitely not all the way through if that's what caused him to commit suicide. I felt really bad for Riva too, being caught in the middle of it all, and his growing fame was basically orchestrated by Gocchi. I'm thinking Riva will accept the offers though, solely because that's what Gocchi wanted, he wanted Riva to become more famous than him. I might be wrong though, but Riva seems broken after this incident. He had regrets and was never really able to get closure in their last meeting. |
