DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kobyashi seems like a newbie, kinda fitting for a lower rank detective I guess. I find the episode interesting as it also introduced Akechi, a more capable detective. Yup, I think this episode felt refreshing as well because it didn't just focus on an ordinary case about Kindaichi or his adventures. Idk how I feel about the case itself, seemed kinda of like it was dragging until the second half. Akechi a pretty cool dude even for a detective. |

| This was simply a great case. Best one so far in this season. |
| That was a very refreshing case, there wasn't any murder which is a nice change of pace. The apology scene at the end was heartwarming. I thought this would be the season finale, so I'm glad there'll be more episodes. PS: Kobayashi's haircut looks somewhat similar to Akechi's, not our silver-haired detective but the character with the same name from Game of Laplace... coincidence? |

| I'd love to see a scene where Kijima and that girl smiling while working at new bookstore Shame we can't see that :( Sorry Kindaichi but Akechi won because of that smile xD |
