| Not a big fan of Mitsui's history so far. :/ I can't wait until the team starts playing games though. :D |
| You'd think Mitsui is some useless side character, but I wonder if he actually plays a bigger role. I mean, they only show 4 players on the court at the start of the OP, so it makes me wonder. I enjoyed seeing Akagi improving during the practice match and Kogure's camaraderie with Mitsui, it's making this long flashback intriguing. |

| The ending makes me wonder if Mitsui rejoins the team. They show a fifth guy with black hair in a number 14 jersey in the final scene of the ending so..? Mitsui rejoins the team? |
| Don't know why people hating. This is definitely best episode and is pretty much dedicated to Mitsui. Gonna be even sadder as they reveal more. |

| ’m still kind of perplexed that Akagi wasn’t as good at controlling the ball since we have seen flashbacks from him since middle school, and he seemed to be doing just fine in those flashbacks. It sucks even more since he got injured during a practice game. |

This show is not only racist, but it is homophobic now as well. The F-slur has been thrown around a couple of times now and the constant comparison of Akagi to a gorilla is nauseatingly racist.
