| So it already come to the end, huh. Well I only saw the preview for the anime so... it seems the base of the story was the same, only the manga version had Douman's touches to it, which pretty much work for me... |

| Completely different from the film. While it entirely lacks the same depth, atmosphere, and resonance as the film, and even the characters feel significantly different with far less weight to their actions, I won't deny that I enjoyed reading it. More Hana to Alice is always good. Disappointing, though. It had its own unique feel to it, but (unsurprisingly), everything feels incredibly rushed and inauthentic, which betrays the emotional depth brought on by Shinji Iwai's delicate handling of every facet of the film - both live-action and anime. A pleasant read, but nothing particularly special in my eyes. It was interesting to see some more of Muu, though. She's a great character. |
