| I've only seen Soul Eater and all the characters were annoying or 1-dimensional. Example: there's one character who gets decent time who doesn't really do anything but talk about symmetry. You did like FMA and Naruto so I'd recommend the best anime instead of those 3 - Hunter x Hunter 2011. |

| Just know that if you do watch D. Gray Man, it starts to only get really good about halfway in. It sort-of has a gothic/dark feel to it. Its good if you give it the chance. I liked Soul Eater's unique art,characters,and its story/backdrop but it felt very unfinished. I'd have to go with FairyTail since it isn't very good of a show creativewise but since its a generic shounen you can have a blast watching it because its easy to follow, charming, and you already know what cliches will pop up(thats if you like cliches like me. Everything I just said could also be taken the other way and you could think this show is terrible as stated in the above posts. But you really liked Naruto so i'd say FairyTail is up your alley). |

| honestly fairy tail is a bit too mainstream for it's own good. soul eater is one of the animes responsible for getting me into anime in general, so my attitude towards it is pretty obvious. I have never seen D.Gray man so I can't give an opinion but I will watch it in the future. |

But to your question, I haven't seen D.Gray Man, so I can't comment on that. Fairy Tail is great if you don't want to think, and sometimes that can be nice. Fairy Tail is fantastic at one thing: having a huge set of fantastic characters that actually matter at least a little bit. That said, the show has its ups and downs for arcs. Soul Eater is pretty interesting, and in my opinion is strongest towards the first half. It is interesting to watch, but somehow manages to not have all that much happen throughout the entire show. | Fairytale bored me on the long run. Soul eater bored me at the very start. I'm re-watching D. Gray Man and if you skip the Fillers then it's quite enjoyable and funny. |
