| I didn't realize watching anime had so many unwanted implications. I mean I guess I get how a person might be judged for openly loving moe or hentai, but even the harmless fun shounen stuff? So no cool kid in the western world would admit to watching Naruto? I'm genuinely curious, enlighten me plz thanks |
| Most of my friends know I watch anime. Although I've heard the typical things non-anime fans say like 'ohh anime is for kids', they don't seem to care about it haha. Some actually got into anime coz of me xD |

| I had a similar problem, I'm one of these people who knows lots of people but for how many I could truly call friends.... Meh. I told my real/ closest friends and except for the odd comment nothing is made of it. You like what you like and they aren't friends if they give you grief over it. One thing I would recommend though is don't talk about it constantly, else it may get annoying for them haha |

| well if the topic comes up then yeah i wont deny it.But i dont include it in my hobby list since its something that i dont allocate alot of time towards it compared to some other stuff i do. Say you like Anime and you will get weird looks - especially if you show it's stuff like Naruto or Bleach, instead of Pokemon and Digimon. Probably because it's associated with 'nerd culture'. I got similar reactions when people heard I'm a gamer, or saw all those books I bring to work. |
