| Anime is supposed to be entertainment first and foremost, so if I derive more pain than pleasure from it, then I'm going to drop it. There are exceptions though, mostly because I hope that the anime will redeem itself, or just to prove to my friends that I can actually sit through a shitty anime entirely. |
| Back when I was a young person with a lot of spare time, yes. I admit that time I just wanted to add more completed anime to my list. Somehow, satisfying that list is more important than understanding and enjoying an anime that time, regardless of quality. I remember watching all episodes of Loveless and not learning anything from it, besides that the virgins have cat ears and tail, and that there's some fighting involved. But now, I prefer to spend my spare time to its fullest and wisely so I would just quit an anime when I start getting sick of it. |

| I will watch an anime even if it's bad. It may take me a while to finish it as I constantly put it on hold, but I eventually finish it. A good example of this would be Rosario + Vampire and its second season. |
