Yes they are. The limited edition are included just like snk, only difference is that they don't add the limited edition sales with the normal edition sales so they are separate. But in the end they all are counted up together.

They are included but not added? What does that mean?

I hope they release the top 100 individual sales, I want to know just how much snk sold with the limited edition sales added to it.

they did actually
don't know why I didn't add them

@TheNextChamp thnx.

@agafin. Basically I mean this. Snk vol 16 sold1.5 mil, the last time we saw vol 16 limited edition it Sold like 200k. But oricon doesn't count them together which would bring snk vol 16 to 1.7 mill. They separate them. But in the end they are all counted together.

I think they separate the limited edition from the normal edition just for them too see how much the limited edition sold by itself.

@kera, I'm still confused. In short, are the 7 million I see for NNT everything it sold (including LE) or are the LE not included?

Btw, I'm surprised that Haikyu's volume sold that much more than KnB's.

And Parasyte actually had a boost, whether from the anime or the movie.

He's not nitpicking. Both of those volumes listed by Agafin were released on 5th of January while the volume one of BNHA which you listed came out last year on 4th of November. A much fairer comparison would be Toriko's volume 32 which also came out on 4th of November. And now if you look at the list Toriko's volume 32 didn't even chart in the Top 100.

Actually no, BnHA is increasing the gap. That volume had higher sales than Toriko when they both left the list.

I'm comparing volumes having similar release dates. Like Z4K posted, BnHA vol 3 sold more than Toriko vol 34. As for vol 1, part of its sales are in 2014 so these are essentially backlog sales.

@Syndiciate. That's the power of anime boost my friend. I'm happy for snk sales, I knew it would be tough to best out series that are currently getting anime /live action movie boost But I can see snk getting the #3 spot by the end of the year from assclass.

That´s not the only reason.
Ass classroom is besides the Anime going through it´s ending currently, the Anime certainly does something. But the volumes that are getting sold are at the peak of it´s Manga.

Any question that came up during the first chapters is answered in a matter of 1-2 volumes. It´s written pretty climactic and fast paced.
My assumption is that rather then the new fans through the Anime it´s more the old fans who kept reading it who are boosting the sales. The Anime should be more like a second wind, boosting the sales even more

smh :( this just shows the importance of advertisement and color pages.
Toriko hasn't gotten ANY advertisement since the anime ended, this is a test for Toriko to stand on it's own, and it'll sell at least 1.5 million by the full list so I consider it a success, it's like a house trained cat being thrown into the amazon jungle.

The manga is pretty great, has everything you could ever ask for in an action Shonen series and the Zatch/Kiyo relationship was written pretty well. The artstyle makes the comedy a lot better, too.

I don't know about that. All of my male friends don't like FT. They said it was too cheesy.

On the other hand, I have a lot of female friends who like FT. Probably because of strong women.

I don't know why people keep bringing up fairy tale as a replacement for any of the big 3. The series is a long runner just like the big 3, but still a lot of people don't give too shits about it.

Fairy tale is a semi popular series. Nothing else nothing more, the end!

It's pretty popular in the US at least. The anime sells very well and FUNimation promotes it just as much as they do One Piece and FMA

As someone who lives in Germany I can tell you that in my country Fairy Tail is NOWHERE as big as One Piece...not even close, dude. One Piece is airing on german television since 2003 while FT didnt even got a dub. Also, One Piece is always ranks high on manga sales lists in Germany while FT doesnt even appear in the Top10...people here love Naruto, One Piece (and DBZ of course!), some other might know Bleach (it also got dubbed here) but FT? Lmao not.

I believe that the same goes for US.
