Compatibility-Unknown -_- ....So far we share 3 manga
They are: Clannad Tomoyo After, Ultra Maniac, and +Anima
Some of the manga titles are pretty amusing like Addicted to Curry and Wanted! You seem to be interested in the genres: shounen, adventure, anime-based, action, and a bit of the supernatural + harem+ reverse harem. The three shared manga are among the first mangas that I started to read. Ultra Maniac was the first manga I completed. As for some of the titles:

1. xxxHolic-I read the first vol. and it seemed alright
2. TRC- a bit long, my friends said it was great, the show's terrific *_*
3. Yu Yu Hakusho-the anime's popular but consecutive, so people get thrown off if they missed some episodes, the manga's similiar
overall the series is awesome :D
4. Clannad-poorly drawn compared to how much effort they put in to the anime + the manga's not so popular+ similiar to other works by Visual Keys
5. La Corda D' Oro -can't find additional chapters online >_<, the anime's great but I wished they'd continue secondo passo, the 2nd season
6. Angelic Layer- own the DVD collection, animation for the manga is similiar,
7. Eyeshield 21- I kinda liked the show so I might check it out
8. Shaman King has really funny scenes, and nice characters
9- 10. Chobits+ Elfen Lied-disliked it
11-15. Tenchi Muyo + Ah! My Goddess + Kaze no Stigma + Bleach + Rosario Vampire-plot is OK after watching + reading a bit of it
16-17. Pita Ten + .hack//legend of the twilight- OK anime shows, animation is similiar in manga
18-21. Vampire Kinght + Rurouni Kenshin + Houshin Engi + D.N. Angel-really enjoyed them
You seem to dislike shoujo manga + works from Clamp though the animation is better. Nevertheless, your list is pretty inspiring.

Compatability- Unknown with 7 shared manga

You've read twice the number of manga I have, but I've apparently spent three times as long reading the series on my list. You seem to like short series and one-shots a lot, so that should explain it.

You like shojo a lot, huh? It's nice to see someone who can read all that manga for the same demographic and not get a bit jaded. I'm more critical when I rate things, but you're way's fine as long as you really enjoy what you rate.

Out of all the series we have in common, we're both reading Shugo Chara! Encore! Just curious, but why'd you start the epilogue before finishing Shugo Chara!, anyway?

I'm also curious about how far you are into TRC since you didn't specify. I liked some of the arcs in the beginning and the Acid Tokyo arc, but I thought things went a bit downhill from there. The last arc was just one big mess IMO, with plot twists added every other chapter just for the heck of it. If you've almost made it to the end and still feel like giving it a 10, all I can say is I salute you. You'd have a higher tolerance for confusing things than I do.

So I see that in your manga list you have a lot of CLAMP series. I have read some of them like holic or Sakura Car Captor.

You are planning to read all Umineko manga. good. I I0m reading the first one. Is long but too interesting.

about higurashi, I got bored with the anime so i wont read the manga.

So you dropped Vampire knight... I can compare that manga with twilight saga

Although it appears we're both shoujo fans, our lists couldn't be any more different. You seem to prefer fantasy and historical manga, whereas I prefer slice of life. We only share three manga: Kimi ni Todoke, Maid-Sama!, and Parakiss. You've rated them all higher than I have.

I personally enjoyed Hana-Kimi which is on your plan to read list. I read it over a period of about two or three days at first, and then I went back and reread it taking my time. I also added 3 Gatsu no Lion to my Plan to Read list. It looks interesting.

Looking at your list in general, it seems you rate everything fairly high. Do you rate for your personal enjoyment of the series?

Your listl has a nice appearance. I love it when people have their list to display tabs by default. That way it doesn't appear to be a wall of text when its opened up. The bold red font on the grey/way list is easy to read, and didn't give me any eye strain. Your background shows your preference for shoujo+fantasy, and fits in with the manga you have listed.
My only thing is that it's very pink, and a bit distracting.

Mandralyne: 9 ratings, 7.7 vs. 7.7

We've both read a decent amount of manga, but our gender/taste has seemingly lead us down differing paths. (You've gone down the shoujo route, I've gone down more of an ecchi/seinen route.)

Your 6/10 for poor ol' B-Shock hurts. I finished it recently and its humour, which included having the two leads singing to avoid the male hearing the female half of the duo pooping, amused me. It's underrated and a whole lot of fun.

I can't help but put your 6/10 down to you lacking a penis, to be perfectly honest with you. You had no problems handing out 9/10 to Tramps Like Us - no doubt appreciating that it panders to those who like the idea of keeping a hot young ladyboy as a pet - but could only offer 6/10 to B-Shock? Nah, man - that shit ain't on...

I'm glad we both agree that Mars is fairly excellent; it being my #2 manga. I'm not so glad you scored Solanin 5/10, however. It seems you need a fair bit of content that's aimed at ladies in order to get kicks out of your reads, and that's a problem for me. I think you need to read Battle Royale and Gantz; becoming more open-minded by doing so. The doesn't end with white, empty backgrounds, ffs!

...Oh, ja, and read Aishiteruze (sp?) Baby. Trust me as a man when I say you'll like it as a woman.

*looks at actual list*
*sees a yaoi title*
*assumes he's come across yet another deranged yaoi fangirl, sighs, and closes the page*

Edit: I mixed up our 6/10-8/10 B-Shock scores when typing. Fixed.

This sounds fun so I thought id participate.

@Aironic great stuff, your list has very interesting titles as well as some which made me have second thoughts of reading (i tend to get influenced on some things quite easily but i stay strong on things i feel strong about). ive only heard praises of Yuria 100 Shiki however as it appears you take it as a fairly average manga, regardless of what i mentioned earlier i wont let this get to me. im still going to start reading it no matter how crap it may turn out to be, just to assure myself that ive read it without regret :)

our manga compatibility isnt all the best (7.4,7.3) and our shared manga(33) isnt either but i guess we both agree on Hiroki Endo's titles, Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan, and Gantz being quite enjoyable. in saying this i think both of our list is beginning to have something in common as the way i see it +1,-1 rating isnt much of a big deal.

one manga caught my attention was Battle Royale, ive put this on hold for a very long time to the extent i was about to drop it but i took another shot but went straight to "waste of time"-list. despite having enjoyed reading crazy massacres in Gantz, this was something that felt pointless. as im still early in the manga maybe you could prove me otherwise.

As for suggestions, you seem to enjoy Dal Young Im titles (kurokami, Unbalance x Unbalance) so why not check out his other works. one in particular is The Legend of Maian is one i think you'll enjoy, similar theme to UxU older woman + younger man but set back earlier in history. i think you'll like the relationship between Felix and Felicia. we all have different likes and dislikes but i think chances are you'll enjoy this

Currently Reading
I can't really recognize any familiar series to me there. But there's one I'd like to see in anime version soon - Terra E... All in all, it's nice you state your opinion about the series in the Tags section, because I'm sure no one would click on it for extra info^^

On Hold
My friend's a huuuuuuge fan of the 20th Century Boys and I'd like to know why you've put it on hold. I've seen the trailer for the upcoming Japanese movie for it and it managed to interest even me, even though I had no interest in reading this manga whatsoever.
I agree with you on Bleach, but I sort of still continue reading it, because I simply can't drop something I've wasted so much of my time on.
Bokura Ga Ita - it's sad it's there too. I'm of very high opinion of this manga, yes it's melodrama, yes there's some unnneccesary suffering and all, but it's the same in real life, so I don't see how it's any different more annoying.
Bokurano - I would like to first see the anime of it, because I found out about this anime when I accidentally heard its OP song on Youtube and fell in love with it. I'm really debating between manga and anime.
Calling You - Also, it's one of my favourites. I found about the manga after I watched the movie which is good btw. It's rather different from other series, so I guess it deserves a higher rating.
Code Geass - Don't approve of this epic anime's manga adaptations.
Dengeki Daisy? :O Why? It's so rare to see it. I think it really does live up to its fame and it's really sad to see it being on hold. Great humour+romance+characters+plot=everything you need in a good shoujo manga.
Fujoshi Kanojo - I found this to be interesting but somewhat boring.
Fruits Basket - This story is not about blushing girls and boys turning into animals, it's a lot deeper than that, and FB deserves every bit of its popularity. It's not about being manly or not, there's a reason its author is famous for being a good psychologist.
Kimi ni Todoke - It WAS meant ot be this long and it's about growing up. Yes, it's hard to find such naive people now, but they do exist and lots of them are manga fans too. Watching such pure feelings bloom is really heart-warming and I don't think it's cheesy. That opinion just shows again that modern people are getting mor eand more cynical (no offence! I'm just not sure of what to call it).
Kimi Wa Petto - I also disagree with this. Saying he's a pet she only tried to give herself a fake sense of security, it's not like he was a real pet or anything, they didn't play sex games either... I love this manga.

But judging from your comments it seems that they're on hold because there are simply no chapters available for you to read (not for all though).

Dropped
Can't argue with my here... Was planning on watching Saikano, because wanted to see something depressing, but I'll now take into account your opinion. Highschool Of the Dead, One Piece, Ah My Goddess and so on - won't ever read them.

Completed
Gah, it's very uncomfortable to look through the list with comments when the list's huge.
GTO, Death Note - agree with the rating.
Onani Master Kurosawa - agree, a great series, plus there's also kind a light novel addition to it if you've read it, I haven't fiinished it yet.
Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan - I think this manga deserves a firm 10, if not 20, being as amazing as it is, I just can't give less.
Deep Love - I think I'm gonna read it right after I finish this post. I've been planning to read it for a while now. But I still think there can't be anything more depressing than the manga above.
Chobits - tried watching one ep of it and got seriously bored, don't really knwo why people like it... maybe I should give it another try...
All in all, about this list, I can say that you've got quite a few titles that I'm planning to read soon myself. In general, you're mostly into seinen manga. I can't share your interest in seinen series that offer mor than the average amount of sex, but I share your interest in good-plot series. It's great to see you don't read
Such series as Coelacanth and Voices Of a Distant Star don't deserve suc ha low ratin in my opinion, at least they're tons better than, for example, those Chobits Ikigami and the like.
I also hate .hack and any manga related to online gaming and the like, it's like it's for the geeks that didn't have enough online gaming themselves and decided to read a manga about it.

About the list in general, can't share your interest in those series with half-naked girls on covers, but in general I like your choice of manga. I can't really explain it, but there is a certain pattern, but I can't put it into words.
I, myself, have wasted a lot of time on stupid very ery shoujo-ish manga with no plot and girls chasing the boy, unfortunately. Because back then I was pretty much a newbie and thought all manga was like that >.> But I don't really drop manga, so I read everything to the end. But I should've used that time on reading something interesting from your list (among those titles that I liked).

P.S. Grr, sorry, it took me forever to write this, so someone else managed to finish before me, but I won't edit it, otherwise, all my hours will go to waste T_T

It's like that saying goes: you spend ages waiting for a bus, and then two come at once. Typical.,,

Since this thread has died again, due to so few desiring my insightful comments, I'll be kind - answering the questions and covering both of the above. No need to thank me.

Questions:

Yuria: It's so repetitive that you'll get bored with it after a few volumes. It's shallow to the extreme, and outside of a few chuckles over the functions of the sexbot heroine, the only joy one with a decent IQ can get out of it is the kind males reach for with lubricant.

Battle Royale: If you don't like BR from an early stage, and you don't find yourself eager to see who dies next in over the top fashion, then it probably isn't for you. In my case, I was gripped from the start; blowing through all 15 volumes in three days. It's weird that you felt what you read was pointless but like Gantz - a series that goes in a never-ending circle of brutal games, with little to no progression - but if that's how you feel there's nothing I can do.

(By the way, I have a review up, if you care enough to read through an example of my rambling: http://myanimelist.net/reviews.php?id=12614)

Dal Young: Don't worry; I plan to have a look at more of the work based on his stories at a later date. Whenever UxU is finished, I'll probably end up giving time to more of his titles. (On a semi-related note, I received Black God 10 today.)

20th Century Boys: What happened was, I read the first volume, liked it... but felt unsure what to say about it/how to rate it because, clearly, what I read was the very start of a convoluted mystery thriller. So, my solution was to order the next four volumes... then lose all interest, place them together in a box, and leave them there.

Urusawa's work is extremely well written but far from great entertainment - that's what my Monster experiences tell me. His stories take too long to reach their destination, and there are too many twists.

Bokura Ga Ita: Like 20th, I started reading Boku, liked it, on-holded whilst I waited for more volumes (4-10)... and then lost interest; placing all the volumes in a box, out of the way. As you can tell by my rating and comment, I liked what I read, but I'm awful when it comes to remaining interested in stories when there are time gaps in-between what I'm reading.

Dengeki Daisy: I'm buying the Viz releases. Only one volume is out atm, though more will soon follow. Simples!

Fruits Basket: I'm a good amateur psychologist, too. That's why I'm so good at trolling. So, the question is, do I have a better understanding of humans, or does a lowly woman who's famous for drawing a reverse harem involving men becoming cute animals? It's a tough one...

Kimi ni Todoke: Sweet thing, no, it wasn't - do some research. Originally, the story was meant to be a short, but its popularity lead to the author being asked to extend the story; making it into a lengthy series. The exact same thing happened to Kare Kano - a manga very similar in many ways to Kimi ni, and one where the male lead isn't a fake nice guy that ladies love to pleasure themselves over, in the deep of the night.

Being Russian, I'd expect you to know a lot more than me about how real men treat sukas...

Kimi Wa Petto: Love is blinding, my dear, and you seem to have not been able to see the dumb chapters where the female lead thought long and hard about how to treat her new 'pet'... by thinking about how to treat dogs. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. It's the sort of story where having a vagina is a great help - just like having a penis helps when the male/female roles get reversed.

Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan: If it had been longer, it WOULD have gotten a ten. Very little makes me emotional, and Jikan did. But it was simply too short for me to go 10-10-10-10-10 over, for God has forced me to give everything fair, 100% objective ratings. It's both a blessing and a curse.

Deep Love: Honestly, I need to re-read to judge if my 8/10 is correct, 'cause I can only remember bits and pieces. Another reason for me to re-read is that there's a tragic spin-off series in existence... about a dog. That will be fun!

Ikigami: It has some of the best character art out there, and deals with a subject - dealing with death - that few stories go near. How can shoujo fluff ever compare to something like that? Again, I think your vagina is to blame, here.

.hack: It's true that my lack of MMORPG experience pulled me into the .hack universe, and that only the .hack IMOQ adaptation is truly worth time, but not everything .hack related is bad. For example, the .hack//G.U. games are a huge amount of fun - you even being able to ride around on customizable bikes. 'Tis cool.

Pattern: What I go for are titles aimed more at males, but I'm also something of a romantic. Thus, I have a blend of shounen, seinen, shoujo/josei, and pervy romantic comedies. That's all there is to it. I try to stay away from sci-fi, and yaoi/gayness is a big no-no, but I'll read pretty much anything else.

-----------

acdc123: 61.3%, 7.3 vs. 73, 42 titles

There isn't too much to say, really. I think your 5/10 for Cage of Eden is harsh when it's quite entertaining, but since you didn't like Battle Royale very much it appears that you're destined to rate most of the survival genre lowly. I, on the other hand, get a lot out of those series and rate the good ones highly.

It's good to see someone else who rated Dragon Head lower than 7-10/10. It started out well enough with its claustrophobic, train wreck beginning, but it only got worse once the first 20 or so chapters were out of the way. No idea why others love it so much...

No rating for GTO?... I'm going to assume you haven't finished it, and if that's the case, FUCKING WELL FINISH IT! I don't hand out 10's like candy - my 10's mean something.

5/10 for Hatsukoi Limited is VERY harsh. I know it ended incomplete and all due to being canceled, but the romance, comedy, and characterization was very good, I felt. Plus, Kawashita's art is sexy - her being the best at drawing eyeballs I've come across.

I'll never agree with anyone 4/10ing Naruto. No matter how bad it's become, the fact remains it was excellent for the best part of 27 volumes, and even the second half still has its moment. I'm still something of a Narutard, and it hurts me when I see people low scoring it just because that's what the cool kids do, these days.

...I mean, you scored Mirai Nikki higher, and its story is terrible. Me no like.

As for your list itself, the file folder layout isn't too bad, but there's a large chunk of white showing on the right side of your list - your background doesn't fit the whole page. Fix this, plz. Also, the section links overlap with your list design.

Read Genshiken and The Other Side of the Mirror.

LeeNoriega: 60.3%, 9.4/10 (you) vs. 7.4, 21 titles

Love, when you 10/10 everything, it makes your list utterly worthless because you like everything equally. It's the choices people make when separating titles that make looking through lists interesting. Who cares what you've got listed if, in your mind, everything is equal? No-one is the answer. Equality is not the way of the world.

Your lowest score is 8/10 out of what we share, and that leaves me with nothing at all to say. Blame yourself for this; not me.

I don't like looking at other men/ladyboys, but your list certainly looks very nice, that aside. Looking at it makes me ponder how someone can be smart enough to realize that making a list look attractive will bring in viewers but fail to realize that high scoring EVERYTHING will make them lose interest...

(In fairness, you DO have some lower scores that we don't share, but still - you give away 10/10's like they're nothing. I hope you're not as easy in the flesh as you are online!)

@AironicallyHuman

I just now noticed your last comment on my list from the summer time. Shows how often I check this thread. I should probably watch it. Yes, there are some yaoi titles on my list, but I'm not a rabid fan girl. I've dropped way more titles than I've read, and haven't even bothered with them. They were a waste of time. I also tend not to rate them, or rate them lower with a few exceptions. Hydra, Rules, and Yateranneezee are among the best titles in that genre, but maybe because they are more drama/romance based. For me, the B-Shock ending just didn't really impress me. It felt rushed at the time.
And with Tramps Like Us, I did enjoy the idea of having a guy who'd be willing to do anything, and be able to keep him as a pet. I also liked the strong female lead in Sumire which I hadn't really come across at the time.

Read something without white backgrounds, I'm starting to branch out a bit. I'm still a little hesitant in trying something super gory or violent. Anything you'd suggest?

Initial Impressions
(60% Compatibility, Mean score of shared titles 7.4 (you) to 7.3 (me), difference 1.29)
I opened up your list, and there was a good looking graphic on the left, and an easy to read list on the right. The light blue on black contrast is easy on the eyes, which is nice due to the sheer amount of text that appears. I like that your list is broken into tabs, makes it easier to approach. Also the tag sections spread the list out, so it doesn’t look as overwhelming as it could have been. I noticed there was nothing on your Currently Reading section, do you not use it? Just curious.

Starting from clicking on the Shared Manga list, we only have 16 titles in common.
Mainly romance stories. I think from the ratings selected, that we share a similar scale of approval. I’m assuming the stories I’ve rated higher I enjoyed slightly more than you did, and vice versa. Is Solanin worth pulling off of my dropped list? It was something I started when I first started reading manga, and I get the feeling I’d enjoy more since I’ve read more titles.

Also scrolling through the list it’s nice to see someone who doesn’t score everything a 10. Nothing pisses me off more than that. If I’m checking a score, it means I want to know whether or not something is worth reading.

Completed List
I like how your list defaults to the completed list tab when opened up. That’s usually the first section I click to, when I check someone’s manga list. You’ve completed a fair amount, over 3600 chapters with only 7 of them having 100+ chapters.

I love your tag abuse though, makes going through your list enjoyable. Reading your commentary along the side, gave a rough idea about how each of the series flowed. The personal touch shows the amount of time you put into this, not just “Okay, I’m gonna throw this on and get out of here.” Your insight seems to do better than most of the TL;DR reviews. Takes your opinion and states it outright.
A lot of the series you read are either romance or violence. While I like the romance manga, I haven’t really been able to get into the violent ones. So I can’t really compare or comment on that. I will comment on the romance ones we’ve both completed.

Beast Master could have been better in my opinion as well, it was never fleshed out. I thought it had good potential though.

Bitter Virgin was one of the first “darker” manga I read, it was a good story though, At the time I thought the ending fit it . Reread maybe?

I just finished Coelacanth a couple of weeks ago, and thought it was weird. I rated it an 8 immediately after I finished it, but after stewing on the story for a while I’ll probably drop the rating.

I’m in the process of reading Death Note, it’s one of those I buy a volume when I have the spare $10 laying around and feel like going to the bookstore. I think I like the manga more than the anime, and I’m only one volume in though, but I figure I can’t go wrong with it.

Mars was one of the best manga I’ve read. The story was realistic, and somewhat gritty. It wasn’t too over the top, and there was the right romance to drama ratio. I also really liked the characters in Mars, which doesn’t often happen.
Is there anything off of this list you’d recommend over the others?

On-Hold List
Understandable On-Hold list. Manga that you’re purchasing and reading, or stuff with slow releases, or stories that get boring or over the top after a while. While you placed Mirrai Nikki on the On-Hold list, I demoted to my dropped list. NOTHING could get me to pick it up again. With After School Nightmare, it has to be a marathon read, but I completely agree how it went in circles. The ending threw me for a loop though, it wasn’t exactly what I expected, AND it tied up the plot. I didn’t like Akumetsu enough to even add it to my list, even though I read a few chapters of it.

A large majority of the titles on this list seem to be things I’ve never heard of, or wouldn’t be pieces I’d enjoy reading. Again, your tags make my life easy. I think the quick summary is the perfect form of tag abuse. Maybe I should start abusing... er I mean, using tags.

I agree with your comment about Kimi ni Todoke as well. When I started reading it, I thought it felt like a short series that was elongated as well. Fortunately, I LOVE the super fluffy plot but the chapters are few and far between, and I have to get a job before I can start buying KnT volumes.

It seems the majority of our shared manga comes from your On-Hold list, and mine as well. Is there anything from the On-Hold section that you’d recommend over anything else?

Dropped
You haven’t dropped as many as I’d expected. You seem to be a pretty harsh critic, so I expected there to be more titles on the list. Your tags clearly explain why you dropped them, and I’m now reconsidering H2. I don’t want to get half way into the series and then hate it because of a character’s decision. One Piece isn’t surprising, it’s seems to be a love or hate series. I have a nice new volume 1-3 omnibus edition on my bookshelf, with a post-it note where I stopped reading it. I agree the art isn’t nice, and the main character (let along storyline) is too over-the-top for me.

Plan to Read List
Your Plan to Read list is quite long. I haven’t heard of some of the titles but I’ve read or tried to read a few of the titles from your on-hold list. The titles from it I’ve read are Akuma to Love Song, Cat Street and Girl Friends. I’ve put my opinions of those titles in the spoiler tag, since they are kind of spoiler-ish.

@yakushi,

Going through your TINY list. Not much we share, it seems. So I shall comment on what is on there that I've read or know of, and on the list in general.

Layout
Standard manga list layout. Once you've read some more manga, I'd recommend playing around with different colour schemes and settings, finding something that works for you.

Reading
Can't say that there's a lot here that I've read.
Naruto - great series, keep on reading it :P
NGE - Really? Why read the manga? I personally don't see the point for NGE, the anime is just so much better.
Nurarihyon no Mago - Great series. Kinda crappy for the first 70ish chapters but it gets progressively better.

Completed
Busou Renkin - Looks good and I plan to read it at some point.
CCS - 7? Really? Personally I think it deserves better. It's a great series.
Chrono Crusade - 10? Guess I'll have to give it a shot.
Genshiken - Genshiken's finished? Hm. Guess I'll have to go read it then :P
Pluto - Good to hear you've read such a good series
Ranma 1/2 - Always wanted to give it a read. Any good?
Rurouni Kenshin - LOVE IT!
Saiyuki - Ech. I disagree with that 9. That series was kinda bad. Got nowhere fast.

On Hold
Go finish Love Hina. NOW! That manga has one of the greatest endings of any manga I have ever read. Epic and enjoyable. Go now!

Dropped
Glad to hear you haven't read anything drop worth :P

Plan to Watch
You really should consider putting some stuff here. There're some great series out there, and it's a great place to keep the series you wanna watch chronicled. I'd recommend 20th century boys and Monster, since you're fan of Pluto.

List Layout:

The background would look better if the image was shifted to the side, either to the left or right so that the list can be better aligned and not be right on top of the image. The red font can be a little hard to read esp the words that overlap with the background image.

Reading:

Many publishing titles.
I recognize all the titles though I haven't read all of them.
Bleach.. well, you know what people always say about the manga (the negative comments). I personally read it just to LOL at the atrociousness.
Kenshin is pretty good, but the anime didn't do justice to the manga at all.

Completed:

Bankara was quite a good oneshot. It was funny and yet conveyed meaningful stuff.
I'm interested in No Bra. The title for one thing and the synopsis sounds promising too.
Onani is awesome. It's unique and memorable; one of my best loved titles. There are only a few titles (less than 5) which I really loved and enjoyed.
Oretama didn't live up to my expectation but it was a fun read anyway. The pervertedness of every chapter was just well done.
Saiyuki manga is better than the anime. It's got more violence and blood.

On-Hold:

Conan is good. I like the different cases but it seems like it's going on forever and not resolving the initial plot of the manga.
Rosario Vampire was enjoyable.

Dropped:

I liked Medaka Box when it first started out but now, not so much. It's alright though.

Plan to Read:

Some really good choices there- Akumetsu, DMC, GTO, Slam Dunk..

Reading - We share Bleach and Rosario+Vampire Season II from this list. I am a massive R+V fan so that's good. Black Lagoon is also one i've been thinking about picking up.

Completed - A hell of a lot more than i have - Oretama, Battle Royale,Elfen Lied Death Note and Rosario Vampire are all epic. We also share a few one shots but nothing that really stands out.

Dropped - I know a few of these from the anime versions but can't say anythign about the manga. I would imagine if i started Naruto it would also end up in the bin.

Planned - Not read any so i can't say again.

not much series we share about half ur list ur ratings are mostly i bit higher them mine im not much of a bleach or clannad fan but u seem to like them a lot we both shared the same ratings for high school of the dead and umi no misaki but i find for both these series its not as interesting as the beginning so i might change my scores sometime it seems u did not like triage x i though the way it told its story is kinda messy but it has good drawings and the story it self isnt that bad so id say it has potential.

i like ur layout its clean and clear... and cute although i dont like some of the characters

Suggestions
I see that you've customized your list a bit. I do have a couple suggestions though. If you moved your list to the left, it would be easier to read than it is centred because the peach skin vs. the orange text fails my eyes.

With the sheer amount of titles on your reading list, it would be nice if you set it as tabs as well, so we're not overwhelmed by the sheer amount of text we encounter when opening your list.

Another suggestion would be to take off the priority column if you're not going to set it. Doesn't do any good to have it up, if it's not being used, just makes your list more crowded.

Scoring
While you're not a particularly high scorer, you still seem to hand out 10s like they're candy. I'm assuming the tens are all of your favourites?

Shared Manga
We only share 14 titles and have 40.7% compatibility. Your average score was 7.6 to my 6.9
We only ranked Addicted to Curry the same. It's a great title; bit of romance, bit of cooking, bit of comedy, bit of pantsu. Everything is in the right balance in it.
I can't understand why you rated Mars a 4 though. It's one of the BEST shoujo pieces I have read, but it is off the standard shoujo path.

-Will continue this later on. I have something else to do right now-

We only share 4 manga, all of them you seem to love.

Chrno crusade: You gave a 10 for reasons unknown to me because you don't abuse your list tags. I gave a 6 because I went in expecting a super awful tragedy and got shafted. I won't go into detail here for fear of spoiling, but I wasn't moved very much at all by the ending. Maybe you're just rating according to the hype it gets? I've just never understood the big deal...MOVING ON!

Love Hina: We both dropped it, but you gave it an 8 and I gave it a 2. You obviously like all your male leads to be nerdy nose-bleeding arse faces where as I prefer a hint of originality. To each is own.

Naruto: You rated a 9. I gave an 8. I don't care what any stupid fucking One Piece or anti-shounen fan says. Naruto is win.

Pluto: You gave 10. I gave 9. I would have given it a 10 right along with you, but I mistook one of the male characters for a woman and it took me like 30 chapters to figure out I was wrong. Twas a huge demotivator for me.

Nice wallpaper. You might think about aligning it to the right, though, so the list doesn't cover up as much of Rei's face.

Anyway, we only share 3 series, so this ought to be quick.

Yoiu liked CCS less than I did, which is understandable. It doesn't seem to be much like the other titles on your list anyway.

Chrno Crusade was a good manga, but it didn't leave a big enough impression on me for me to feel like 10/10'ing it.

And you gave 10s for Eva, Ruroni Kenshin, Saiyuki, and Pluto too. I still have to finish Pluto and want to read the rest of them, so that's pretty encouraging.

These aren't on your PTR list, but you might consider reading Fullmetal Alchemist and Immortal Rain since you gave 10s to some other shonen series with a focus on the characters.

so anyways most of the series ratings are pretty close

u seem to really enjoyed chobits and Mirai Nikki for me I found these a little too dull so didnt like it that much.

also with Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind i found it was really messy both the drawings and story so didnt rate it that high but i can tell why ppl like it the imagination is crazy.

and Pita-Ten i thought it was really generic the drawings were not that good ether yah didnt like it too much

really liked ur background can tell it took some work unlike mine just uploaded a wallpaper and changed the color a bit XD.

for some reason i wanna recommend u the series Gon its a good series so check it out.

Reading:

You have a lot of titles here.
Hell yeah Bleach deserves that score. Or even a 1.
Conan is good but the mangaka seems to have conveniently forgotten to develop the actual plot.
A 2 for KHR.. well it's not that bad but lately it seems as though the mangaka isn't really trying to make the battles interesting.
After watching the anime I'm interested in the manga for Maria Holic.
Yotsuba seems really popular, I might check it out.

Completed:

Tons of low scores.
I liked 13 though it was nothing special.
Genshiken.. I'm gonna read it sometime soon/

On-hold:

Yeah I've got Gintama on hold too. Most sites have missing chapters and that sucks.

Dropped:

Yeah I dropped VK too. It doesn't help that the characters look so similar and I can't tell them apart except for Yuki and kaname.

Plan to read:

Up to date with Bleach but rating it a 2, good luck.
DMC looks interesting, I was thinking about giving it a shot someday. Rereading Slam Dunk, great idea, I'll do it, too, a little later.

Completed:
Many many many oneshots, no wonder the list is huge. I wonder whether you remember them all. *Scrolling Down* Oh, Akumetsu, a 9! Nice, nice, I really sympathize with the method used to fight corruption.
Basilisk: The Kouga Ninja Scrolls - Hmm, I felt it was a bit rushed. After watching the movie Shinobi it all was very familiar. The score is decent, the story is ok after all.
Blue Heaven - From the creator of Jiraishin, 9 is a nice rating, I really liked the atmosphere, and I like the art style.
Death Note - a 10, well of course, great story with lots of deductive thinking and twists, tense and intriguing plot.
Elfen Lied - It's better than the anime version, but still not really consistent and dragged out, 6 is fare enough.
Eros in the Stoic - Ha, oneshot that I recognized, interesting chapter of two pages if I'm not mistaken, I really like the mangaka and her character design, she makes nice plots for yaoi stories.
Great Teacher Onizuka - an 8, well, that's decent, sure =) I can't say I was laughing out loud from the manga, but it was an adventure of it's own.
Nijigahara Holograph - a 6, hm, I think it was more powerful than that actually.
Yellow - 8, I liked the whole build up for the pairing and the struggle of one of them to accept the other. Nice.
Zettai Kareshi - It was cute, I don't seem to get too excited by the stories like that.

Dropped:
Whyyyy, why dropping Monster and One Piece? *FUUUUUUU~*

The design of a list is very nice, easy on the eyes and calm.

Basilisk: dont know wat to say ok series but kinda too depressing for me lol
chobits and dragon head: didnt really like them ether
emerald: not a bad one shot but i would not give it over a 7
mars:... way to boring for me lol fell asleep while reading it...

I like your list design; all that blue's nice and soothing. Just a little suggestion here, but you might want to make the font color for the scores a little less blue and a little more white just to make them easier to read; the text blends in nicely with the bg, but it makes it kind of hard to read at my screen res (same goes for your links, but they get better if you hover over them, so that works).

You're kind of like me with your manga ratings; you don't give 9s or 10s out too often, which is nice.

Seems like you're at least a bit of a CLAMP fan, since you checked out so many of their series. It makes me sad to see Chobits (one of my favorites of theirs) with a lower rating than TRC (one of my biggest disappointments), but it's all a matter of opinion, so whatever. I'm curious why you haven't checked out Tokyo Babylon, though, since you seemed to like X. Not a fan of Subaru and Seishirou, or does it just not interest you?

Actually, we seem to have pretty similar interests in manga in general. Cool. You read a lot of seinen (with some shojo and shonen mixed in), which has been what I've gotten into lately, and you like those episodic supernatural series like xxxHolic, PSoH, and Mushishi that I love so much.

I'd recommend Yotsuba&! out of your PTR list. It never fails to leave a smile on my face when I read it, and I haven't met someone who dislikes it yet.

The scores for most manga are quite different, which probably means we have different preferences.

Rated Eyeshield 21 a ten - excellent. ^^

Only reading twelve? And over a thousand have been completed; its rather surprising that out of all the manga you've read only eighteen have been dropped so far.

I like the simplicity of your background, though I think the list would be better centered rather than on the top.

I don't understand how you dropped Naruto with a three and are still reading Bleach when you rated it a two... and you dropped One Piece with an eight?

As for your favorites I honestly can't understand why everyone is so crazy about Onani Master Kurosawa I personally didn't like it; Liar Game and Detroit Metal City are/were okay, I guess, and I'm enjoying Slam Dunk.

We share seven titles. You only rated five of those seven. Reading more manga before commenting is advised.

Chrono Crusade's a series I hold a lot of love for but it's not perfect. It sped-up a hell of a lot near the end, and its conclusion was both more depressing and vague than even the anime's.

Genshiken's one of the few series I enjoyed reading more than watching. It has a rare quality which allows for non-stop reading.

Naruto is still something I plan on catching up with, one day, in spite of it going downhill after the first half. How much I enjoyed playing Ninja Storm 2 highlighted that I'm still very much of a Narutard.

Deadman's Wonderland is probably shallow and uninteresting, once things start getting explained. Might turn out good, probably won't.

Your background conflicts with the text, making it hard to read. Not much else to be said since your list is so small...

Shared 88 titles, 77.1% compatibility. Just touch on some interesting ones.

Hiroki Endo's Tanpenshu - I read your blog on 'Platform' and that was the story that stands out for me. "For Those of Us Who Don't Believe in God" was solid as well. Give it a 9 too, simply the best short stories collection I have read thus far.

Eden: It's an Endless World! - Will advice you to pick this up where you left from. It does get contrived at times and I'm still not used to Endo's humour but I basically forgive him in the end. The way I see, it's just part of his traits.

Ane Doki! & Hatsukoi Limited - Got to hand it to Mizuki. My scores may not indicate much but I'll probably read anything done by her. Will recommend Musunde Hiraite to you.

Midori no Hibi - One of my favorite RomCom. I can still remember clearly it was exhilarating hilarious all the way till chapter 58. The resolutions begin shortly after that.

Deep Love - Ayu no Monogatari - Too much tragedies occurred one after another which seems forced and contrived. While I appreciate the intent of the story, I couldn't sympathize with the characters.

Shingeki no Kyojin - Promising premise and good execution for now. Sidenote, Mikasa has to be one of the most lovable female characters.

Ciguatera - One day I log into MAL and saw SWEET being recommended to fans of Ciguatera, might check that out when I have the time. Got to love Ogino's outlook on life, supremely positive despite bleak circumstances.

Doubt - We both gave it a 5. Doubt is a sad excuse for a whodunit manga. The essence of classic detective mystery, whodunit, has always been the questions revolving who/how/why. Doubt not only missed the most meaty part of the story ( eg. how the culprit did it ) and also attempts to explains any plot holes with the convenient use hypnotism.

-Reading-

No votes, doh.

Deadman Wonderland: My current addiction. One of the most exciting manga I've ever read.
Elfen Lied: I think the manga is horrible, especially if compared with the anime. Yes, I know that the story is complete and all, but the manga is too long and boring, and the art is pathetic.
Gantz: I've wasted my time watching all the anime and reading some of the manga. Unbearable, ridiculous, pure trash.
Naruto, One Piece: I've dropped them a long time ago.
Air Gear, Bakuman, Eden No Ori, Wolf Guy, My Girl: Read the first volumes, don't really care about any of them. They didn't catch my attention.
Limit: I'll start reading it soon, I love Keiko Suenobu.
Shadow Star Narutaru: I want to read this one as well.

-Completed-

Death Note: Same ratings. And we both disliked the one shot about Near.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Same ratings here as well, yay for YGO.
Goggle, Half & Half, Tom Sawyer: We liked them more or less the same.
Anedoki, Htsukoi Limited, Lilim Kiss: I'm reading Anedoki right now, I loved Hatsukoi, and I'll probably read Lilim. Mizuki Kawashita's art style is just perfect. The only woman who can make me buy ecchi manga.
Goth: Too overhyped, it's nothing amazing.
GTO, School Rumble: Didn't read them all, too long.
Bloody Monday, Samurai Deeper Kyo: Picked them up, told me nothing.
Veritas: Didn't seem bad.
100 $ Is Too Cheap, Battle Royale, Deep Love, Le Portrait De Petite Cosette, I'S, Love Hina, Love Story Killed: Hated them.
I Am A Piano, Loop, System Of Romance, Tsumitsuki: I liked them more than you.
Mirai Nikki, Hikaru No Go, Jiraishin, Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge, Saitama Chainsaw Shoujo, Onani Master Kurosawa, Wings Of Vendemiaire: I must read them.

-On Hold-

Highschool of the Dead: I've also stopped reading it by now. It would be great without the ecchi.
Ubel Blatt: I've lost interest in this one.
Negima: Geh, I hate anything by Ken Akamatsu.
Bleach: I've put on hold both the anime and the manga.

-Plan To Read-

Aria, Azumanga Daioh, Ashita No Joe, Full Metal Alchemist, Gintama, Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro, Golden Boy: Watched the anime, have no intention of reading the manga.
Black Jack: I suggest you to read Black Jack Neo, it's from the author of Battle Royale, 2 volumes only.
Cat Street, Kimi Ni Todoke, King Of Thorn, Shangri La, Soul Eater: The first volume didn't seem that interesting to me.
Dogs, Gengaku Picasso: I must read it as well.
Drug On: I've completed it some months ago, good but inexpressive art style, quite boring overall.
Power, Shisso Holiday: Nice, but nothing special.
Red Garden, Eternal Sabbath, Mars, Kanojo wo Mamoru 51 no Houhou, Oyayubi Sagashi, Kieli, Seikon No Qwaser: Go read them now. :-D

Reading:

A really big list. From the top 9 of your currently manga in seems that you're like more mature manga .Also it seems that you can read probably any genre where is if it caught your attention.

Completed:

Over 500 titles, and only one manga has a score of 10. Quite a harsh rater you are. It's kidna surprising that majority of your high rated manga are hentai, not that it's bad or anything :D

On-Hold:

Quite many different manga here. I wonder why Elfen Lied has such low score, it seems that you like that anime and well the manga is much better than it (although it's only my opinion). Also I think you should try finishing Flower of Evil, you may like it, it has a quite nice development and conclusion in the end.

Dropped:

Well many of these aren't worth reading, although Gantz and Eden no Ori are one of the best survival themed manga out there. But they're just probably not to your tastes.

Plan to Read:

Also a big list.Akumetsu, Mirai Nikki, Doubt also maybe Shadow Star should definitely be put on you priority list. Although some of them already are.
Also you should prioritize Superior if oyu like fantasy theme with some action and quite much comedy (although without the comedy these serious would be much better in my opinion).
Usotsuki Mii-kun to Kowareta Maa-chan Totteoki no Uso is quite nice, but for me the end was kinda a let down. It seemed to show big potential, but well my expectations were just to high and still this is quite good manga.
Beast Master - if you like shoujo, you should read it. It wouldn't take long and it's a really god shoujo example.
Beelzebub - awesome comedy manga and I must it's much much better than the anime version.

Overall: It's nice to see many different genres in the list and many different ratings.

Reading:

Quite many here.
Almost all of the titles here are still publishing.
Looks like you like most of what you're reading.
B Gata H Kei is awesome. I can't wait for all the chapters to be released.
A 6 for Bleach is what I'd consider high.
I'm interested in reading Gantz but I dunno if I will.

Completed:

A variety of scores.
I notice our scores for certain manga are different. Guess our tastes are different.

On-hold:

Ah, Aki-sora.. I wanna read that too.

Dropped:

I liked Koukou Debut.. though generally I dislike shoujo and romance.

PTR:

Lotta titles here.
