yep, interpersonal skills. some companies here are quite obsessed with this kind of stuff, though after 2009 with its financial break down everyone more or less ditched all this crap and just want you to work and be effective in your field. though I guess my work is all about communicating with people, so it depends.

I've been planning to watch it for few weeks already, but every time I'm about to go something pops up and prevent me from finally seeing it. I guess I have to watch it soon, since it's no use to watch it at home, those kind of movies are better seen in a theatre on a big screen with dolby and 3D stuff...

what's a Gatz/OSAKA btw? is it some spin off from Gantz about Osaka team? Oku should be busy developing an original plot instead of drawing extras. I mean he obviously ditched vampires and lots of other plot lines just to install some alien action, so he should be busy patching holes there -___-

damn. MAL lost my answer...
ok, take two :)

you sure do me too much honour, I'm nearly so skinny as models on runway shows, though I'm quite tall.
as for Ares, it's sure a nice read. though the main character sure likes to pick fights, but the plot is reasonable enough to enjoy it.

my job is not that tough, being a journalist was quite more stressful, besides now I don't have to spend an hour on public transport to get to the office :)

thanx for encouragement! I browse fashion blogs for motivation - I can wear this kind of stuff soon too or something like this :)

I see you point about comparing something you've seen/read before with something you watch/read now. it's the problem with movies and books as well. the key pint is diversity. try to read some really different from what you've just read. for example, I've just finished two mangas about incredible loosers and now it's time to read something refreshing like Ares - bloody fights with severed limbs flying around and decapitated people on almost every page. this way you won't have some crucial predetermination towards any manga and more common ground attributes to judge them with.

actually it's almost two years since I first wrote you in may 2009 :) gotta prepare some anniversary celebrations! hahah xDDD

btw, I got a new job this autumn, no I'm a PR manager in a publishing house. what about you? any news? any promotions? :)

yay, sweetling!
(looks like we're drifting towards some epistolary novel xD)
I'm not sure about looking beautiful in everything, though I'm working on it. one more battle for a nice body was commenced in the beginning of February and now warfare reached it's first phase. heavy ordnance is on the way. summer is coming with shorts and minis which know no mercy and all the unprepared shall face woe and sorrow!

oh, you gave my dear Jiro only 7 for his lovely Tropical Citron! I will haunt you in your dreams for this, you shall read it again and mark this masterpiece with 10 for atonement of your sin. Jiro's a freak, but he's soooo nice and messy, that I gave up after first few pages...

as for recent manga. I have no any. and anime too. spent last half of a year or something without it and feel perfectly healthy, no signs of withdrawal. maybe I'm not that hopeless after all :)

Kurosawa was a nice read. first I read it for a plain amusement but that it turned out that mangaka supplied this dojin with some pretty sticky plot and character development. even though I'm not so sure about naming it the best achievement in manga after Astro Boy, it's still a pretty descent read.

PS with this new MAL bug it's impossible to understand what people watched or read recently... so annoying... -___-

merry christmas :D

oh, I like Ushanka too. the shame I look horrible when I wear it, so I have no any as for now =) y father tried to seduce me to wear one, but he obviously failed xD

as for smileys, people here already got used to all the disasters, they happen too often to be frustrated about any of them. of course it doesn't mean we're actually pleased with what's going on around us, but we less alarmed and more like fatalists now. I guess everyone would be after all those pilical changes every dozen years or so...

but back to more positive topics... I'm not into shoujo because of mentioned by you disadvantages. shoujo stereotypes are far worse for me than shounen ones, even though latter can be annoying as hell too. I'm not into all stories with weak female characters or where whinning and stupid girls always win... maybe because I'm the exact opposite of this stereotype myself... either way it's have to be some personal stuff =)

and thanx for a rant btw, I enjoy reading walls of text and write them too, so beware, one day I'll write you a huuuge message xDDD

hey-hey-hey!
was busy like hell travelling and preparing before that. UK-France-Switzerland-Spain. I guess it was a mistake, cause I don't wanna work now... really don't wanna...
and looks like I will end up changing jobs or even moving somewhere else =)
what about you? how's your summer going? here it's hot and smells of fires... like in hell, basically. there's even a joke that those people who've survived this summer in Moscow will be driven out of hell for laughing in boiling cans =)

as for Youjouhan, it was awesome, in my opinion. recently I don't favour overcomplexity which often hides nothing. more into some clear but nice and vivid patterns. just like Masaakis works. he's the guy that never disappoints you.
durarara was less that all fuss about it. in my opinion Baccano was a way better and well-paced. this one is too money-making to be as action-driven and madness-packed as it's gangster predecessor =)

hope to hear from you any soon.
PS what do you think about Utena btw? for me it was a glamorous crap with bishies...

Oups not saw your post.
For Kurohimé : I like all the forms.
The woman form is so ... hot and "adult".
For the teenager form, i like her because of her reactions.
For Dorohedoro, personnally, it's rare when i take a manga like that.
ANyways, i like a lof ot seinen mangas but generally, the one like Dorohedoro is not my cup of tea ... It's why i hate Berserk!, Bastard. XD

hm... actually I'm not so sure about highest desires. dreams too tricky too count them only as desires. and there are lots of things I see in my dreams which by all means not the best thing to face in real world. like all kind of minsters and such.

PS do you plan to finish Youjouhan?
Iahel Jun 23, 2010 12:11 PM
>>> are you telling me that Higushi is just making that up about him being the “observer”? if this is the case what was Kano doing?
Higuchi might partially made up that story as well as just pretend that happened to entrap Kano. though I'm not sure about her motive to do so. and we shouldn't forget about those special trainings Kano received in a camp or something, Higuchi talked about it in the beginning of the manga, when boss asked her to explain her decision to hire Kano. maybe it had something to do with that camp? there are too many plot holes, which Jiro most likely created on purpose, to make any clear judgement.

>>> I don’t think i have ever had a dream with a developed plot cause my dreams usually don’t make sense at all haha.
mine too are quite random most of the time, but sometime I get really interesting ones. like hollywood movies =)

I've seen few japanese live actions and even though it was like one of few best there is, they still was pretty much average. one I've seen on japanese movies festival in moscow and the other one was made by Taiyo Matsumoto manga, soit wasn't likely that it will suck. trailer for Freesia looked like a generic japanese live action, so I'm almost sure it's not the movie worth watching...
Iahel Jun 17, 2010 4:57 AM
yep, I agree with you, all characters were so attractive cause most of them was cracked... as for Higushi, I think all that crap about being a observer was a stuff she made up for her own tranquillity, or her unconscious made it for her. and though Kano was paranoid like hell he was too psycho to took any logical actions to prevent Higuchi proceeding with a vengeance act, I think he wanted to kill her just because she was the only living person that appeared as his imaginary friend and it scared a hell out of him. both Keiko and that Phantom was dead when they've started to be "friends" even though he didn't realise it in Keiko case.

my dream was nice, it takes a lot more for a dream to become a nightmare for me =))) this one was just a little bit tricky, I think I got affected by Jiro's art, that's why everything was a little bit patched and dark there, walls were with scratches, windows too, even Matsuev looked like a living and moving illustration from Freesia, he had strange cracks all over him... it's really hard to describe, like he and everything around me was sewed from small pieces and struggled really hard to stay solid. but the most weird part was that city afterwards... anyway, it was a nice dream, I enjoyed it a lot, it was interesting =) though I prefer dreams with a more developed plot =)))

I saw that trailer of Freesia and it looks like all Japanese movies look... crappy... I don't like them, cause they generally suck, I wonder are Japanese even able to act naturally? anyway, I don't think I will give it a try, it may be too disappointing...
It’s time to ditch the text file.
