| After watching Kara no Kyoukai 1 and 2, I am really confused and can't seem to find an explanation anywhere, so can someone explain both of the movies to me so I can move on the next one. Thanks. |

Arguable. Personally I enjoyed the series more watching it in chronological order. If you want to do that you can watch the series in the following order: 2 > 4 > 3 > 1 > 5 > 6 > 7 > OVA > 8 |
| I'd say continue watching as is. At the very least, the problem with watching it in chronological order is the ~2 hours straight worth of setup and explanations you'd have to watch. There are other things like the non-linear order is how it was intended, but it's a weird argument since it's just the first four films that are swapped around. Still, I just watched as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 since it's less thinking. |
| With the subject matter itself? It's just pretentious philosophical rambling. In terms of chronology? It'll make sense if you just keep watching. Personally, I'd watch it in broadcast order |
