| I haven't read the manga yet, but if the mecha action is like what I've seen in other manga, nigh incomprehensible, than anime would win by far. |

| I enjoyed both. What you miss in the manga -animating/sound effects- is balanced by really beautiful art. Although I think the manga wins in delivering the bleak atmosphere that Nihei masters too well. |

I for one enjoy the adaption for the great effort they put into the animations and sound effects but they changed some scenes for the worse imo. |
