| Not the funniest episode, but it's better than a lot of recent episodes and also does what a lot of the better episodes do and plays with character interactions by having Ran and Lum in full cooperation for once. Lum remains bad at owning up to mistakes. The incidental characters have more detailed design than they usually do. The newspaper Ryuunosuke's dad is reading seems to have an ad for Project A-ko in it, but that wouldn't be released until two years later in 1986. I guess it was rattling around in someone's head already. |

| When alien flowers ruin your reputation by spreading rumors all over town! LOL Mendou's reputation got tarnished so fast he didn't recover XD They wilt when the sun goes down, but then they start whispering when the sun comes up LOL Lum can't keep her sanity in the end. |
| I feel like this is a textbook great Urusei Yatsura episode It takes a really neat concept and mixes it with it's great cast of characters to make something fun The flower idea is cool though, really original! |

| These flowers kinda remind me of the ones from Undertale that repeat the last thing they heard, but I guess these came way before lol. My favorite bit in this one was definitely the one where Mendou was being accused of wetting the bed, and it was especially hilarious when Lum didn’t cover for him lol. And in the end the flowers just ended up coming back after it seemed they were dead, I guess this is another one of those episodes where the issue isn’t solved but the show must go on lol. |
