Yes, as you can see I don't like Mine. I am also not a big fan of Esdeath but she is better here in that contest. If I were to choose one I would be in favor of Akame herself. Best pairing? Wave/Kurome hands down. |

| Wow that ending was pretty bad :( Akame vs Esdeath was underwhelming and the way Akame overcomes Mahapadma was retarded! While it was depressing af seeing one of my favourite manga get such a severe butchering it was still fairly entertaining 7/10 for the overall anime. |

| Well the ending was certainly better than what the leaked storyboards told us, but that's mainly because we had dialog to understand what was going on. The ending was still meh, but it was better than what I originally thought it was going to be. I'd rather not go on a big rant at the moment so I'm going to only focus on some highlights via screenshots: That prime minster got fucked up! Look at that face!  Easter egg for all those manga readers out there. The little girls from the infamous chapter 23.5........ :(  Another little poke at manga readers. Bols family being happy and thriving, they're lucky Wild Hunt never existed in the anime......   Now this screenshot explains what happened to Akame  I kind of guessed this a few days after the storyboard leak, but Akame is now a Dark Knight. I think that's a fitting role for her because there's always gotta be someone where you can focus all the hate at it. Anyways, this anime was great for 18.5 episodes and then it just fell off the rails and crashed. I can live with the ending however, so I'll give this a 7/10. That's being real generous and that's mainly because I'm too big of a fan of the manga to give this a lower grade than a 7. Still, I can't ignore the first 3/4 of the anime which were very good so that definitely boosts the score for me. |

| Okay, I admit, the fight between Akame and Esdeath was quite good. But what they pulled afterwards, wtf. And the final scene, so completely irrelevant. Now to wait for the real ending. |

| Was around a 7ish for me before episode 19 and then down to 5. Great trainwreck to say the least. Lots of laughs came out of it. |

| It wasn't a bad ending. Despite everything that has happened. Despite a few of our beloved characters getting some eye rolling deaths post the non canon start. It wasn't a terrible ending. It was rather depressing seeing how Akame will continue to live and struggle. I was surprise the final sequence between Akame and Esdeath was pretty engaging. Despite these last several weeks which have delivered more cons then pros, it was a good series and I enjoyed it overall. 8/10 |

| I'd say 9/10 till ep 19 and then 4/10 for the second half. At least Bols' family is still alive.... and Leone's death was BS. How did she even outlive Tatsumi like seriously... It was also kinda sad listening to Tatsumi's village leader saying how he was looking forward to Tatsumi and friends' return since they're never coming back. |

| The dialogue and pacing in this episode was super shitty. Fight scene was anti climatic. Esdeath's death wasn't even statisfying. Poor Tatsumi had crazy whore all over his body. I find it hilarious how people who ship Esdeath x Tatsumi totally disregard the fact that he wanted her dead, that she killed his comrades, tried to kill him and just despises her overall lol 4/10 |
