There has been a mistake with the episode count of Ai Tenchi Muyo and Ai Tenchi Muyo Recaps.
The episodes that aired on friday where part of Ai Tenchi Muyo Recaps while the episodes that aired on other weekdays belong Ai Tenchi Muyo.
This means that today's episode was episode 8 of the recap and not episode 40 of the original anime.
And yesterday's episode was episode 32 of the original anime and not episode 39.
Sorry for the confusion.
