As for ratings - n othing to do with those complains. Its the secondaries. ANd for them Shirou = let's rate it low. |

| Oh great, Is this going to be an valvrave, kill la kill, and magi delay thing all over again? And Cruncyroll/funimation hasn't got amagi brilliant park, & Nanatsu no Taizai yet which is worst. (I heard a rumor that netflix has gotten nanatsu no taizi which is not confirmed officially yet by ANN). And more worst UTW hasn't pick up or it may have cancelled plans to sub it. |

Honestly it's kind of hard to even attempt to have a discussion with those guys around kind of trying to police opinion isn't it? I got into a bit of trouble last week for causing trouble in the thread, but I kind of wonder why this sort of thing is allowed by and large. I guess as long as they don't get too completely out of control, but really it's more a matter of just trying to get a word in edge wise on these forums and I don't see how it's going to be possible to have anything even remotely resembling a real discussion even by MAL standards. Personally I wouldn't even really bother. So that completes the other side of the perspective with this episode. I was in a lot more familiar territory with this one having watched the old anime, still not a huge fan of Sakura and her overly nicey nice attitude and personality in this route but I'm not really sure how long she's going to be around so it doesn't really matter. Obviously you've got Saber here and her skirmish with Lancer to introduce their respective abilities a little more and of course the antics at Shirou's house that I so fondly remember not being the biggest fan of but that kind of come with the territory of visual novel style comedy. It doesn't last though so it's really no big deal. I think the thing I like about this most compared to the Deen anime besides the upgrade in animation quality though (a bit too most fast motion and CGI effects in the fights though almost as if they're trying to be flashy and eye catching rather than demonstrate technically smart fight scenes, but it can only be uphill from the 2004 anime regardless) is they seem to be trying to give the characters more clear cut personalities, back stories and histories with regard to all the added lore and canon that has come since the original games release. I'm not going to argue or make any statements on how accurate it is cause I know how well that tends to go over with the really hardcore fan types, but it was certainly interesting to see. Now the question remains how many episodes have they burned off the season already since we've had the equivalent of what should have been 4 already. I don't know if this counts as two or if the last one really counts at all or if there's going to be 11 more after this or as few as 8. |

| Senpai. Senpai. I can already see where this is going. Another great episode. This time we get to see what happen through the pov of Shirou. For some reason I loved the fact that they did this. I loved how it matched up with the events with Rin. Finally my favorite girl Saber appears. That quick fight with her and Lancer was damn good. The animation once again beautiful. Favorite part was when my boy Shirou had open that sheet a paper. Wonder how things are going to go from here. I guess I got start the VN. 6/5. |
