| I don't know if it was the first, but Togashi actually used the concept initially in Level E in the Color Rangers arc. Though, of course, the idea wasn't nearly as explored as in Greed Island. |

| Log Horizon was the best out of your examples, but Greed Island would have been one of the earlier ones as the others had the improvements made in the gaming industry to build off of. |
