| According to Mainichi news, Ninomiya Tomoko's manga Nodame Cantabile will end in Kiss magazine vol.20 to be released on October 10th. The final anime series will start in January 2010. A surprising announcement will be made in the next issue of Kiss. Sources: Mainichi Natalie |

| Surprise ending gank! With the author's health, I can see how this would happen, but ending out one (or two) chapter after 134, which mangahelpers lists as the extent of current raws, seems like a hell of a stretch. There's still a crapload of unresolved plotlines going down. |

| my heart seriously cringed when I read the title of this topic. I don't want it to end so suddenly!! this wonderful manga deserves a respectful ending. i sincerely hope that the ending will be one that is appropriate and not rushed/awkward/abrupt. |

| Perhaps she needs to recover her health first and enjoy having a family without worrying about deadlines. Then maybe in the future, she'll decide to pick up her pens again. It's better than her croaking because of her health. It could take years but like Inuyasha, whatever plotholes that remain may get resolved as long as she's still around. I wish her well and may she get her health back. |
