| I absolutely love Luffy's eyes when he's pissed right off. XD You know he means business when his eyes are like that. Was a little thrown at how long it took them to capture Luffy, but gotta kill time somehow right? Can't wait for next week. |

| This episode was infinitely times better than last week's. Did a much better job at Boa's character, especially her few endearing moments when she's being cute this episode had. But man, I really hate the 1 episode per 1 chapter thing. Boa walking down those steps took a good minute. Argh. |
| Good episode, could have moved a little quicker, but whatever. Luffy's actions were done really well, I like when it isn't just "Gomu Gomu - attack name" and his moves have some good animation to them. |
| hahah you know, years of arrogance has made her fail to realize important details. first off, he saw her back without turning to stone. her stone powers do not affect him....and he said hes seen it before. those three things should have been enough to make her take a step back. oh well, the hard way it is. also it seems he was sent here to learn how to fight. it was funny when he thought he was gonna slow down hahaha. the power of suggestion is a powerful thing. |

Almost all of the Shichibukai appear to be too sure of themselves, other than Kuma. But then, Luffy and the Strawhats were also too sure of themselves. Now Luffy is learning a lot of lessons of how far he has to go to be competitive with the real top powers in his world. Never-the-less, it was great once again to see Luffy get serious. This is forcing him to grow up and depend more upon his own judgement instead of always looking to Nami and the rest for ideas and just fighting blindly. Next episode ought to be great - Was that preview showing Luffy getting giant snake-boob smacked? LOL |
| 5/5 episode. Animation was wonderful, last episode's oversized heads and Nyon-baasama's animation really sucked, but this time quality was back to normal. I loved Hancock's light grey eyes when she got scared. Luffy has no wickedness and lust in his heart, so he can't turn to stone. Go Luffy! |

It's not like he has no interest in women, its just at the moment there is only 1 thing running through his head. Get a ship A.S.A.P So even when confronted by a beautiful woman he doesn't have time to dwell on it. Also he was expecting it to be a noro noro beam, and the fear of slowing down blocked out the effect of Boa's beam. |

| The use of Haki has increased quickly and recently, making it rather apparent that it will be an important point to be tackled in the series. So far, Luffy's been using it without realizing it, probably on a subconscious level. It should be interesting to see if he can gain a certain conscious control over its release. Then again, the punch used to down the cat in the arena didn't even need Haki. Kinda makes one wonder just how much hidden potential Luffy has. On an unrelated note, I know 413's out, but I need to ask... is it silly of me to wait for a yibis sub to come out before getting it? I mean, is there such a thing as loyalty to a certain subber? I posted this question here to avoid reading 413's forum post, heh. |

| The snake princess really annoys me. Forgiven because she's beautiful, sorry, no, you're just making me hate you more. For some reason I'm feeling that Luffy's the least interesting of the crew's adventures. I wanna see how the others are going to get back. |
