| I really paused my screen back there and drank a cup of cold water. Then played it. LOL It was really ouchy! Arghh! I took a far away distance of 3 meters from the monitor to watch that scene. XD Wow, I really love this show. Mostly because of the DVD version from Ayu. I think it isn't filtered? I don't know though if the DTV version is filtered in those scenes. XD |

| I got Triad's subs... I'm not entirely sure if they released the uncensored version of the anime... When I get the 2nd season, I'll make sure to get the unsensored version no matter what! xD I hammered my nail one, in an accident. I smashed open a few arteries inside, so it got all purple and shit... Then my nail fell off a few days later... It hurted alot! Due to that, I can relate to Shion's pain a bit... :P |

| OMG i used to love Mion until now =( Now i'm starting to miss keiichi, and all i got from this episode is something, Keiichi didn't talk to Mion when he killed Satoko's uncle, he talkde to Shion. Guess that's all, and Shoin should've really felt betrayed by her sister. |

| ok i'm so confused. . . . did the first arc mean nothing at all? all the other other arcs tie to eachother in some way except the first arc, which said satoshi only started swinging randomly with no interest in baseball. . . . . yet in this one he's playing baseball. what am i missing? |

| Well, I paused the scene for a while, then watched it 2 times. Then I googled a bit, and now I know that finger nails re-grow after they are ripped of. Relating to the spirit of the series: you can repeat the process *grin* |

| After I had my thumb pinched in a car door, it got really messed up and infected which ultimately led to the doctor having to removing my nail. And I can tell you even with some local anaesthetics it did hurt like HELL. Don't think I ever cried as much as I did that time (was 7 back then) Anyway no wonder Sonozaki is the leading family if they treat their own children like that, glad my granny is not ever close to be that scary =O |
| I don't get it, why's everybody saying that the family is insane and stuff like that. As it was explained in the prev. ep., Shion must have been killed after she was born, because that was the rule for a twin of a family leader heir. Her life, however, was spared, and yet she tries to act like she's independent and shows no respect to the family, of which she is still a part no matter what she might think about it. Sonodzaki is a ruling and respected family, so Shion must be punished for her behavior and disrespect. That is exactly what fingernails removing does. BTW, I guess it is logical and even good enough: they didn't make her, for example, cut her whole (or a part of) finger off or anything like this. She received a great doze of humiliation and pain, and that was her punishment... Don't think I'm some crazy cruel maniac or something, I really pity her for the pain and would never want anybody go through this. All I want to say is that what they do is not insane, it is very logical. === The greatest mystery for me now is what happened to Satoshi-kun. Desperate to know this! |
