AniChou - The Open Anime Updater

AniChou is an application that keeps track of the animes you play on your computer and can tell it to the MyAnimeList website. In more technical terms it is an Open Source anime list tracker and MyAnimeList synchronizer application written in python.

Note: This application is in beta state! It still has bugs, but should work.

Hi there,
I'm working on similar application but written in Qt.
It's in early development stage but it's already capable to fetch anime list, show it in a nice form and display cover art.
It doesn't support sending updates or video-player detection yet... but it will do so.

I'm looking your new work,I really want to help you in the develop of this app (testing and that) I know a little bit (verry little) python, how can I help? (I dont realyly know how works git, and develop process, sorry) if you can give me some info about, maybe we can make it work with python 3

Hello.

Since it seems like this project is stalled, I've been working on a new script for me written from scratch in Python to keep a local list and update in different sites like MyAnimeList, Melative, VNDB, or AniDB, with a CLI, curses or GTK interface, but I decided to open source it.
It's currently in its early stages but I'm actively working on it, so if you have time take a look, any suggestions or help is appreciated.

having issues installing through terminal. I keep getting this error,
$ python /home/dc/AniChou-9.1.6-beta/setup.py build && sudo python /home/dc/AniChou-9.1.6-beta/setup.py install
running build
running build_py
error: package directory 'src/AniChou' does not exist
