| I haven't watched all that many Hollywood movies in my lifetime so I can't crown an overall favorite. But a recent favorite is Deadpool. If anime movies are allowed then it's definitely The Wolf Children. |

| Hmm... I'm not good with movies, I always end up just spotting plot holes and movie mistakes instead of focusing on the plot. I watch alot of horror movies with my relative , and none of them have ever entertained or scared me, I just watch them for the spotting errors XD I do like the comedy genre though, click would be my favourite movie if anime movies were excluded. My favourite movie is Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki, I really liked it. |

| So first order of business. Two of our admins have seem to have disappeared on us. I've tried to contact Fede and he's ignoring me. I don't know why. Then we still have The Disappearance for Selinea Suzumiya. So I've moved them to both officers for the next two weeks and if they don't make an appearance they'll be removed due to inactivity. @duffy553 "annnnnd we arent an invite club either" Well that isn't entirely true anymore. If you have been with me for awhile you do know my position on invites and that the more active people tend to join by themselves. But not every club thinks that way and if I am an adviser to a club I need to know the ins and outs of it and what is the most effective way to do invites. I can't be closed minded about it. I at least need to experience it for myself I created a test where every week I would send 25 invites in a certain section of the forums. So my first test was sending invites to people in the episode discussion as we are currently airing season club. So our club would fit their needs. I saw 10 people out of 25 join the club with a 40% Success Rate. Not bad at all for random inviting. The next week I would be giving invites through the introduction section with also providing a welcome post to those new users. I saw an astounding 17 out of 25 join the club with a 68% Success Rate. I actually saw about 5 of them post in the introduction thread in A.G. as well, only one has actually branched out and posted on a few of our other threads though. My next theory was that maybe the higher success rate might of been due to providing a post for building a connection between both of us so I gave invites after providing a recommendation in the Rec Section. Now I have not actually done 25 yet, more like 10 because it is very time consuming to give out recommendations and I can't find one for every single person but no one has joined so I'm pretty confident that the Recommendation Section is not a effective way to send invites XD. So what it comes down to is "concept" or "gateway". The Introduction section yielded a difference of 28% in success rate. I will test the two again within the next two weeks to validate this test. Probably add another third option as well but yeah. We aren't an invite club but I am doing experiments with inviting for knowledge. At the same time only 1 out of those 27 have actually yielded any significant activity so for now my theory is correct. |

| Yes, but I was more so referring to the people who request to join. They actively seek out membership in our club so I would think they have some desire to be active members aswell. Idk I might be wrong. |

That also makes unnecessary work for us as well having to accept them all. |

| Works well enough for Monia Cafe which is a club I frequent. There's a quite a few people who are active there. Might just be because they have a lot of members in general though. |

They are one of the "untouchables". They have been around for almost 6 years and the 6th highest in members on MAL. Logically they should have 4 times more activity than we do. There is so many clubs on MAL these days and there is so many new ones being made every month. If you put choice between joining the club you can join immediately like the A.P.C or the one that you have to wait around for that would be us. I believe they would choose A.P.C. and we would just be shooting yourselves in the foot. |

I have the same philosophy as you that it isn't based on the club's member count but the actually activity in the club but "request" only isn't going to solve retention issues. It is basically like putting up a barrier and having to want people to go through it when right next to you there is another group that is handing out fliers with free access. Currently I believe thanks to the new system of the P.R.C we have seen an increase in activity on the club page as can be seen in the seasonal discussion thread. So we aren't in bad position right now. This can also be thanked to the new notification system like right now where I keep quoting you thus you keep getting a notification of my reply =p. But yes, the moment that I become a officer of A.G. I have been studying how the MAL community operates and using things that I've used from my marketing classes to help boost the club to where it right now. Thus far, we have been able to to last the test of time. |

Well they are also clubs that I believe have fallen victim to the test of time. "How to watch anime" was made in 2008. That club is older than Monia XD. The bottom comment on their club page is from Oct 31, 2015. |

| So I did some Spring Cleaning. Fede and Selinea have both been removed due to inactivity, they were demoted to officers 3 three weeks ago and both have still yet to make a reappearance. My invite experiment took a really odd turn when it comes to inviting users off the episode threads. The first batch of 25 was 40% success rate. Then the next two batches was 10% success rate. All different people, different shows as well. I wanted to bring in a variety. I guess I just had beginners luck. I'm currently still doing introduction part 2.
