| In summary, at that incident, there were still police/forces involved (not 100% handled by Lycoris) and in the previous episode, the chief (who in ep5 was referred to by Mr Abe) was "presumably" killed at the office. And now they bring out again that two police on the scene. How do you feel right now DA? |
| No, don't you fucking dare. Here I was having the best time for almost all of the episode, then bam, The Alan strikes. Seriously, the first half of the episode was so fun, it's such a joy to see Takina's development always. Then, Chisato and Majima interacting was really great as well. Aye, he might be killing people and blowing up buildings, but he cool. Young Chisato was a menace though, she was badass, well, she still is now. Honestly expected that she was legit killing people then, and that something happened that made her switch to the (non-)lethal bullets. But she was already using it back then. The whole joke with Takina's crap parfait lmao, RoboLyco saying he'll flush it was hilarious. Cute bench scene, cute bench scene. Nothing bad better happen to those two. I fucking love this show, if this still stays consistent until the end and stick the landing, I'll for sure end up rating this a 10. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| Ok I also missed mention of rubber bullets in ep4, but seriously Chisato using them in Radio Tower incident make no fricking sense. At that time she was 7 years old. And I won't belive that she wasn't trained at DA for at last one year or even more. And in her case it would be less about physical side and more about mental conditioning her to be proper assassin. Sure we can argue that, thanks to her talent, she was too valuable to give up on her despite her extreme "pacifism" being on oposite side of what is expected from lycoris, but that's weak counter. Also said "pacifism" for now have no good reason to exist in first place. Especially at such young age. It would make way more sense if she was super efficient killer back then, but was badly hurt in that incident, got that artificial heart. That near death experience and second chance would be sensible (as far as this anime goes) reason for her to start valuing life to such extreme. That would also require some changes in incident itself so Majima could escape alive, but that would be better than what we got, where he somehow wasn't caught despite state he was in during explosion. Sure there could be some incident even earlier, but first for now it doesn't exist. Two for it to work as catalyst for Chisato change it need be something big. The only sensible option would be accident, where here parent died and she ends with artificial heart. Another thing that I don't like is Alan Institute. If they don't just play good guys for public, then they are total morons. And even if it's just mask, still all this crap about talents gift from God make them dumb. And then there is Chisato case, where if they are not clearly villain with good publicity, then their smooth brain is at full power. Like sure Chisato genius level of trajectory prediction is perfect tool for killer, but I wouldn't said that it would allow her to use it to it's fullest. After all with normal bullets it would make any mission even more effortless. She wouldn't need dodge that much to, get close and personal with enemies. They would be dead long before that. On other hand her current style force her to use it much more. Also her incapacitating enemies with much less effort than any other Lycoris means less risk of killing somebody who knows something or generally more potential sources for any given info. And for organization like DA that should means more than having 7 years old super killer machine in long run. They already have plenty of normal killer machines. So the same talent can be used for different things, but Alan Institute is bunch of smooth brained idiots that is unable to comprehend such simple fact. So the faster we are over Alan bullshit the better. At last now with knowledge that Takina can make you buy poop dessert, she doesn't need worry about her retirement plan. With incentive she could probably make you buy anything. Even literal shit. |

| It was all Lyri Yuri at the start until it all went Frankenstein at the end. Also Majima seems to be a revel with cause guy. Kinda reminds me of Makshima from Psychopass but with a little more craziness. |

| So Majima has got some sonar shit going on lol. Well okay this episode was pretty lighthearted until the ending. I guess they will be messing with her heart as I suspected a while ago. Also interesting that Majima was just able to get into her house for a chat like that. |
| I really thought this show has no real plot but that ending kinda gave me a pause and makes me think "should I stay a little longer ?" Also it's amazing how this show enchance Chisato ability even further, like she can dodge bullets at close distance or even point blank and in the flashback she so fast that she can teleport. And Majima has a sonar like ability whoaaa cool..... But he still got his ass kicked by Chisato so I guess it's not that impressive for me |

| This episode was a tale of two halves, with one being peak entertainment and the other being very serious. First off is the lighthearted entertaining part, where Takina put her foot down and got to work in sorting out the cafe's finance issues. She kept any waste to an minimum, whether it was with the cafe's appliances or going after the bad guys with Chisato. She also had time to make a new chocolate cake which took off like a storm thanks to Kurumi's help without her knowing until later on, where Takina's expression was hilarious (Same goes with the smug expression Kurumi had earlier, too). Proof that even a cake that resembles a massive poop can sell if it tastes amazing......maybe..... Then we got back to the serious stuff and we had Majima easily finding Chisato's safe house and they had a chat about the old tower incident a few years prior. It showcased how lethal she was back then and showed zero hesitation with shooting anyone who got in her way. I can't blame her for changing her tune since then. After that we had a cute scene between Chisato and Takina outside the cafe before the plot got very serious again, with Chisato finally going in for her examination, but fell for a trap, leaving her completely unconscious. It's a good thing that Takina enforced a stricter rule about heading her way if her calls to Chisato doesn't succeed. A juicy cliffhanger like this makes me eager to see the next episode so badly. I hope that nothing bad is done to Chisato, but I'm not optimistic about her chances this time... =( |

| The more we learn about Alan's Children, the more weaknesses we come to know of Chisato. First, it was sniper and sand, and now it's possibly the dark as well. | I just love the SoL-ish moments in Lycoris Recoil. Even more than the slow progressing plot and the B-tier villian. Well, Majima was a bit more interesting in this episode but aside from that, nothing more to his character. Also, the incredibly juicy thicc fanservice which was needed. The action sequences were also really good with the flashback. |

| What a mix of suspense, sweetness, slice of life, and suspicious things to come. Takina really did well to keep LycoReco back in the green again, and now that she's also getting interested in stocks, what a 21st century attitude. Also they have a new AI assistant, Takina creating a delicious (💩) parfait, and Kurumi getting treated like a child. Then there's Majima suddenly pulling up on Chisato's crib and aside from a feel of danger, the fact that Chisato dodges Majima's bullet and looking cool because of it is something that melts my brain (THANKS LYCORECO STAFF). Also we finally saw what happened between a younger Chisato and a bilnd Majima in the Radio Tower years ago. Aside from the cool action scene, I'm astonished that Chisato got hurt (maybe blew her heart) because of the explosion. For now, Majima is just another enemy as he is not the only one that is a threat to Chisato, yep the doctor did his job. Chisato is now in true danger, a live-or-die situation and it's up to Takina (who somehow made a psuedo-confession to her) to save her from the nurse. Shit is happening and it's a lot to digest. |

Also, I hope the nurse finish experiment with chisato before Takina comes. meh halloween gift. Majima needs to up his game though. Maybe he can use a needle/nail gun to shoot chisato this time. coz chisato cant dodge needles, it will be extra effective. |

| I wonder if the death flags are really red herrings... Considering the organization is called Lycoris, and the AI is Radiata (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lycoris_radiata), that is enough to cover the flower symbolism as the context for the naming and origin of the concept. The flower could very well have nothing to do with the outcomes of any of the characters. The really wonderful lovey touching scenes could be really ot death flags at all, but lead to have that impression... Personally i see this anime having a lot of staying power, and if they don't do anything devastating or confounding to the plot, they could tell a lot more story in this world, and i would love to see more of these characters in the future. They're all way too charming and personable to just move on so quickly. | Great episode but I can't help but stress a little over Chisato's scenes in this episode and her possible fate, especially both after seeing Majima holding a gun at her (luckily he missed when he did fire) and at the end when that lady was looking to what appears to short circuit Chisato's heart, maybe it involves some type of reprogramming to bring out the assassin side of her. Regarding Majima, looks like his super ability may be some type of super hearing/sonar-type ability as he was telling his partners the locations of the lycroris based on hearing while blindfolded (I'm assuming the blindfold is to heighten his hearing/sonar ability further). Someone earlier said that Shinji Yoshimatsu may end up becoming the heel of this show and that Majima may end up switching sides since he does seem like a rebel. I do recall towards the end with Shinji blaming Mika for this, that would be interesting for sure. Lastly, some light hearted/funny/cute moments. Chisato got some fine ass thighs that were showed off while she was doing a handstand, very nice, and her Halloween costume was cute and so was her trying to get a treat bag from Takina. The "poop parfait" was hilarious and poor Takina for not realizing that it looked like that but at least it was a hit with customers lol. Man I hope Takina rescues Chisato but I fear she may be too late to at least completely revert her back, hope I'm wrong. |
| I don't know if zapping the artificial heart in whatever form of procedure that was will have anything to do with directly altering her personality, since that wouldn't be scientifically-based by a long shot (everything to do with personality and conscious thought is based in the brain, after all). Not that the series can't flout the science on that, but to me it seems much more logical and less of a leap to think that they would hope to change her personality and actions indirectly, because something pertaining to the calibration and voltage of the artificial heart has something to do with her physiological reflexive response and unconscious reactions under high stress/pressure situations like the dynamism involved in combat (and any unexpected object or stimuli entering a certain radius around her), enabling her to dodge the bullets regardless of range or trajectory. By removing that ability, they could hope to force an extreme scenario upon her where she'll be forced to kill simply to be able to defend herself and/or Takina or the rest of the cafe crew. |
